After being rejected by Rachel when his ex-girlfriend exposes his infidelity, DeMario returns to the Mansion for a final plea. (From The Bachelorette Season 13, Episode 3).
One thing that Rachel brought to this franchise that no other woman has brought: class, dignity and integrity. And in all the men she brought out the best in every one of them. I dare you to name a Bachelorette who has done same
+insaneapples It is not easy for Black women especially African americans women in America to find partners especially if the black women are educated and successful like Rachel since she is a attorney. Before the bachelorette started Rachel said that some of the past men she went out with were players and not serious, and they were successful men as well. She wants to get married and have children thats why she decided to join the bachelor and almost ended up with Nick. Lastly it is said her father wants her to be with a man that is as educated as her or driven professionally like her. It seems Peter or Bryan are strong contenders for her so far for now. So this is not a surprise at all, its a reality women face now.
...You must not get out much lmao, do you know every black woman? They are just women like all other women, with women of all races some have attitudes, some are more resevered and submissive, some are opinionated some keep their opinions to themselves. Your race doesn't determine you personality traits sir...And from watching the show shes a very intelligent, beautiful, kind, driven woman. I feel like some guys are intimidated by her success.
Malaina Johnson Actually my father was around. He still is! He raised me to be a man. My mom didn't raise me to be a man because it's impossible for a woman to raise a boy to become a man. The Black community needs to keep the father in the home and stop shutting them out of their children's lives.
I loved how she tells him off but still kept it really classy. And she didn't even stutter! Can't believe she made that speech on the spot. Even prepared speeches are not executed that well!
Gernis La foucade Yes...most black males have been socilaized this way. They have never had to compete with other races of MEN for black women. Black women are waking up.
HebrewMeli 1973 great response ! They don’t know how to react because they’ve been raised to think all bw will put up with that. Only low value women allow that and clearly Rachel is far from that.
to be fair, I think the show has been getting classier the past few seasons. In the past, it was just the epitome of ridiculousness and unnecessary drama and contrived situations but, especially the past few seasons with Ben and JoJo, it has been more "classy" and genuine. and, of course, as you say Rachel is the most classy lady of all 😂 she f-ing owned him in the most gracious and articulate way!!
This was a game of conquest for Demario and his ego! The way he walked away, smiled at the camera and said "damn" , almost felt like "Damn..she didnt buy it"
vinessa wess Typical black male behavior. He is embroiled in yet another scandal with a WW who accused him of being sexually inappropriate. Black women wake up!!! Thank God she said what she said. It's about time that BW stood up and saw the BM for who he really is...a narcissistic effeminate loser! He obviously likes WW and that is okay, but Rachel is out of his league and he knows it. That lame sorry defeated conquered race of male game. Get outta here. She is a protected woman who is disgusted with that type of behavior in males. I hope that she and Peter are engaged.
This is not typical black male behavior. Who hurt you so bad sis that you're generalizing like this? If it were typical, there wouldn't be more great black contestants left. We need to stop bashing our men. This was typical Demario behavior.
I'm watching this one year later...Rachel is one of the BEST thing that ever happened to this show..What a moment. That was a BANG !!! Well done Rachel :)
He didn’t even address his “girlfriend” which was literally the most important thing for him to address to Rachel. Always listen closely ladies and gents.
for a moment I felt for Demario then he said something cliche what every players say to get back on the game 'when I met you my ENTIRE life changed' Boy Bye! you dont even know her that well to say your entire life changed, you did even have that much of a moment with her other than dunking basketball. It would be believable if its Brian or Peter but Demario needs to stop embarassing himself
I'm watching this a year later...that was like a BOOOMMM moment, best mic drop moment EVER. She stayed classy, praise him for his quote, haha She's a BOSS ! Period.
What he FAILED to realize he's talking to a seasoned LAWYER!!! Man you look like boo-boo the fool if you think Rachel was letting you back into the house!!!
She did the right thing. The greatest predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Im not saying people cant change, but usually they dont WANT to. If she let him back in, he wouldve continued to screw her over.
This is my sister's account but man I wanna be that classy. It's like I wouldn't know if to cry or just be in shock after that. I'm lowkey embarrassed for him tho lol
Never bored watching this. Watched it over and over again still get the satisfaction. She shut him up and teach him a life lesson to never lie again or at least to a lawyer.
Hes a classic example of most black guys. Impulsive and immature but so quick to apologize with the lies. Takes a grown woman to dismiss him for his bs👏🏼
WHILE I WONDERED IF HE WENT BACK AND PICKED UP HIS FACE OFF OF THE GROUND OR TIFF WHICH EVER ONE LOLLLLLLLLLLLL BOY DID SHE DISMISS HIM WITH THE QUICKNESS I HAVE ONLY ONE THING TO SAY AND THAT IS BYE FELICIA BYE.
That’s how u handle it! I feel sorry for the next girl he tries to date because he’s a sleaze ball! I’m sure there are girls who will fall for that bs.
Hannah B, take notes! She gave DeMario a chance to explain himself and actually listened to him, then she told him in a calm, classy way how she felt and left the situation with closure. Hannah B didn't even give Luke P a chance to explain himself. She yelled and threw a temper tantrum. Then she chose the player at the end, instead of seeing through the BS early-on like Rachel did. I think all contestants of this show should be at least 25 years of age or older. Studies also show that our brains aren't even fully developed until we reach that age anyway.
