I think these young sisters need a "musical Momma" in the entertainment industry and I can't think of better ones than Rachelle and Patti and Gladys and Tina. If they would just do what Rachelle just did and take these little girls by the hand and teach them how to be humble with their gifts. I love Rachelle for being THIS WOMAN!

I love this, Rachelle Farrell teaching JHud on stage. It's good to teach those that have a teachable spirit. I give Jennifer an A for effort its not easy to stand on stage and go one on one with Rachelle Ferrell. Their are singers who have been singing longer than Rachelle in the business and they won't stand on stage and sing with her.
OMG..Rachelle is just first class! I mean Jennifer Hudson is a little nervous singing around her because she knows what Rachelle can do. But right on stage, Rachelle started pulling stuff out of Jennifer, that Jennifer did not know she had inside. I need to start a go fund me page so I can get singing lessons from Ms. Ferrell.

Very strong advice from Rachelle Ferrell, someone who really knows what the music industry can do to a young soul like Jennifer, I remember they tried to pimp Rachelle and tried to turn her into a music trick in the early 90's, she said, HELL NO!. Now, she's doing her own thing at her own terms. I hope Jennifer Hudson takes these advice to heart. Great Job Rachelle for the mentoring and your great music.
Nope. I had tears, too; and the greatest thing about this was that Rachelle did it in spirit of honoring Jennifer's gift, mentoring her and genuinely wanting to sing WITH her instead of the desire to want to outshine her. She had faith in Jennifer's range and knew full well she could hit those notes (that's why she gave them to her) then took the harmony above even that (WOW!). 🙌
she needed that , Jennifer that is , someone to love on her without no hidden agenda's. I love how Rachelle gently pushed Jennifer out of her comfort zone, made her hit notes she probably never knew she could hit. I think many singers are great, but Rachelle is a force of nature. I would say she is a proper musician first, it just so happens that her voice is the instrument.

I've rewatched this three times this week.... Some things just really get me here - the grace and honour with which she welcomes Jennifer to the stage, that little squeaky laugh that's so full of mischief and heart, 'she done sang my hat off', the sheer love, support and respect you feel from their back and forth... That's art on another level. Rachelle is truly the bridge between the cosmic and the intimate.

Rachelle is wonderful! The reason she is not well known is because although she has the voice, she at times looks very unattractive when she sings. Her most amazing song was I can explain! Check it out whenever you get a chance

No problem, I'm glad you liked her. This is why I love youtube! Being able to discuss a common interest with a complete stranger. It's helping me break free from shyness or feeling intimidated to talk to a stranger face to face. We , in general, need to stop judging or stereotyping each other and just appreciate that were all unique therefore no one should feel intimidated about initiating a conversation with a complete stranger if you see that you share a common interest.

This is the beauty of RU-vid. I'm often called names for calling this place YouToilet because of the huge amount of pointless crap that has been dumped here. So when you come across a priceless gem like this video, it makes your time worthwhile here. Rachelle sharing the gift with a new comer is such an endearing moment- so private and personal, even in front of the world, but still one on one. Jennifer is just starting out in the music world and has a lot to learn, but one listen to her debut album's song "Jesus Promised Me A Home Over There", it's clear she has the goods to secure herself a spot in the music industry. Her whole demeanor changes when she sings gospel- which she herself says is her true calling. If you haven't heard her sing that song yet, you must do it soon.
Rachell is one of the best singers on th planet. Please do not call her names that do not belong or describe her. She is very humble about her gift, although she is a power house!!!
