The issue in my case, as a highly educated person, is that doctors are misinformed about menopause themselves. No doctor ever discussed the importance of HRT and even rejected the notion stating risks of breast cancer despite this not being true. Is this because I am Black? Maybe. I feel robbed as I am now post menopausal and am still suffering needlessly. Looking for someone in the Washington DC area to help me.
