We had the remnants of Beryl run through a portion of the province the other day...what a tremendous mess it made...so much rain in such a short period of time. Do enjoy a nice breeze for its cooling effect as well as keeping any bugs at bay...but that seems a little more than a breeze! lol
I feel that's where my trail running really helps - the descents. Not as helpful for the uphill but I think it helps me stay light of foot on the downs.
@@RhodySeth Word on the street is it was used to redo the rock-lined paths. It was teeny tiny back in February. Enormous at probably 7 feet tall prior. I suppose Hale has the largest summit cairn these days.
Nice Hike Seth 🏔️👌🏻 Beat the weather which Ian always a win Mate 🏔️🤠👍 Question how long have these peaks had the names of presidents? As Eisenhower is a relatively recent President?? ATB Simon
Most of them received their names in the 1800's. Eisenhower is a relatively new one. It was previously known as Mt. Pleasant until New Hampshire legislature changed it to honor President Eisenhower in 1970.
Seth how many rounds of the NH 48 have you completed in full? I'm on,y 27 into my first round with a couple I have done twice and one I've done three times.
Three full rounds done. There are a few peaks I've hiked as many as 6 times and my recent trip to the Kinsmans brought me up to 16 for Round 5. But it's interesting trying to continue to check off peaks as certain months fill up.
Not too brave, since I knew, I was heading down after Eisenhower. Actually I was surprised how many people I saw proceeding towards Monroe into the soup when I had gotten there.
