Hi Cody just came across your channel and already love it. I started competitive swim training in grade school and stopped 7 years later. Never really liked it because I was skinny and short and it was actually parents’ choosing to keep me fit. As a result I couldn’t stop shaking like a griddle whenever I got wet and always struggled to keep up with the bigger guys in the team. Actually swimming never seemed fun to me until I found this channel. I know it takes blood and sweat to swim at your level but you seem really are enjoying this sport, which is admirable. You are the first person in years that makes me want to jump into a pool again. A massive thank you for that. I have decided next time I will swim for fun. Please keep on what you’re doing and best wishes from China.❤

Have you changed your training since you’re older now? Are you training less practices and doing more sprint?

Cody I have a pretty decent question. I’m 11 years old and on a swim team in Ohio. It seems like every race I swim I get so nervous that I don’t get my admired time that I can easily reach in practice. Like in practice I swim a 33 second 50 and in meets my best time is a 36.17. And in my 200 I’m my time in practice is like a 3.15 minutes but in a meet it was 3.28 minutes. Do you have any advice of things not getting to your head and just swimming the race?
