EJ, love the content. FYI Rand Miller, who holds the first KOM, was smashing the NorCal scene back when P12 fields were often 100+ deep and we had to deal with guys like Evan Huffman, Andrew Talansky and a loaded Bissell squad amongst others...
As someone who raced (poorly) in Norcal long ago, Rand Miller is a name I will never forget. He had a great blog back in the day before there was anything like youtube to get the lowdown on what racing in the P12 was like.
This reminds me of the Dirty Dozen a bike race is Pittsburgh PA that climbs the 13 steepest hills in the Burgh. The steepest is Canton Ave which is the steepest road in America.
Good stuff EJ! S.F. has some gnarly KOM efforts (especially when compared to us here in Florida). Looking forward to the vlog when EJ upgrades to white cycling shoes!
I thought it was going to be cheesy with a fast trio drafting and sniping KOM’s. Good to see for the most part the solo efforts on some insane but fun segments!
That was some good training and a fun video. Me and my friends did exactly the same thing. We would not paddle and super tuck and see who can get the furthest without pedaling. 😂👍
No HR or power data is suspicious for a KOM, but not as bad as an average speed of 440kph which is the leader bard sped for a local beach side segment here. I’m pretty sure it’s some smartass in an F18 Super Hornet cos they often do low fly bys.
Qetone needs to be taken after a long ride it is a slow source the idea behind it is so you don’t need to use the source from ur liver for your recovery.
