Going through my videos I came across this RANT I had to share. It is NOT sewing related. I recorded this rant after I heard the most obscene listener call into a radio station, AND SHE WAS SERIOUS.
I am white (ish) LOL! I am married to a man who is like me and a Heinz 57. We are human as we all are. I really hope this was a joke. This woman offended me. I would love to do a genealogy background on her family. See what comes out of the woodwork. (Or under the rock) What a bigoted heifer. We can only hope that she does not have children to pass this kind of attitude onto. Some people.
I was just enjoying your serging video and decided to see what else you've posted and came across this. I was expecting some overblown, over sensitive, "I'm offended by something trivial", over reaction. WOW... the caller was from the twilight zone. I'm just so sick of all of the racial crap; black this, white that, hispanic, asian, indian, the list never ends and it is all so divisive. I look forward to a "human" time. I have enjoyed your sewing videos... thanks for putting them up.

So sad that this still exists. It makes me sad because I have sons that date outside their race. They love who they love and that is fine with me. Not only do I fear for my sons but also their girlfriends that have to deal with the backlash that comes from it.

My mom and I just watched your vid on storing fabrics and want to thank you for taking the time to post it. We are just now sitting here wondering how in the world to store our fabrics on our new shelves (not alot of room) and bingo... along comes your video. We just have to mention as well that we don't know if that caller was a prank or not, but if she was serious she definitely does not speak for the majority of caucasians. Since there is no "Society for Concerned Cereal Eaters" it comes off as a typical radio show prank. Either way, the whole thing is shallow, tasteless and only continues the tensions between the races. Don't pay attention to them and they will not succeed in their bullying.

just found yr channel as a great resource as I'm returning to sewing after 25 years! I cannot understand that anyone who is mentally intact would go on the radio and show such ignorance! She is obviously a few ants short of a picnic OR this was a hoax to increase the number DL's listeners. in my opinion this had to be a hoax.
I know this is a few years old but I just found it. Apart from the whole racial thing I can't get over " The Society of Concerned Cereal Eaters" Seriously there is a society for cereal eaters !!!!! Surely she must of been joking about that bit !!! Unbelievable
