YEAH... I found you... So Happy. I am going Back into the BBQ Business... but I mainly want to Smoke Beef Jerky. I want to use an Off-Set Smoker that I can use char-coal and Stick/Wood for smoking... I still want to be able to Smoke all the Meats for BBQ... Brisket... Ribs etc... too. I want 3 racks at least... or more... I do not want anything that Electric... for over 50 years all we used is a REAL Smoker using Wood... Now... years later.. I want to do this.. but on a smaller scale... Any Suggestions... ??? Thank you so much for your help and sharing this great video
Really cool. I think adding an option for another rack or two would be great. Camp chef has their jerky racks, but they look cheap. Would much rather have your set up with an extra rack or two.
Just grabbed a set for my new incoming WWPro 36 - is there a suggested method to season these? I see they're carbon steel, so I assume they need seasoning
Anyway to get this to work for the Camp Chef DLX 24? I asked support if it would on the PimpMyGrill website but never got an answer. Ordered my racks and they seem to barely not fit.
Thanks for the comment! We will release a version specifically for your model just as soon as possible. If you reach out to us using the contact form on the website, ask to be put on the list to notify for the DLX 24 and we will email you just as soon as its ready
Hey guys look at making some kind of rotisserie unit support system ! I do believe you will sell them.I wish I had something that I could convert and put one in there.I have the camp shelf 24 toss it around.Thank you
Its definitely on our list. The mounting brackets should be easy but you will have to drill through the stainless for the spit. Will be difficult to drill through that stainless..
Is there an option for just the top rack? I don't mind the standard bottom rack but the top rack is annoying that Camp Chef provides. Really my only negative feedback on the smoker - but the rack I use the most. An easy slide in grate to go here would be perfect from PMG
Hey Jason! Thanks for the comment. The reason we haven't done a single full sized top rack is that it would be very difficult to access the food on the bottom rack. Having both slide out is a luxury you won't know how you lived without! 😎
@@pimpmygrill9915 May I ask how much distance there is with the top rack installed to the top of the smoker? I smoked hams on mine for Christmas gifts to friends and the standard rack was the perfect height to accommodate the hams. How much room is lost with your system? I realize the lower rack is also raised so maybe that would serve better than the standard bottom rack for this?
love this but i have the 24 in camp chef and was wondering can if i receive one will i have a problem i have in mine just a reular rack in my top for buns and ssteak
I found it very difficult to dump my pellets for the first time. The grate above the pellet hopper kept me from easily pushing the pellets out the emptying chute. Secondly it was very hard to position something to cleanly catch the pellets as they exited the chute. A easy to attach funnel that would direct the pellets into the original bag would make things easier and cleaner. Think about it.
