The emperor and the queen of pentacles are a part of the same picture... you can hold them together to see continuation. Its fun

I love this deck. I work it together with the Fairy Oracle with Rackham illustrations, and yes we have the some images in both decks like the Sun, the Tower, 8 of wands, 2 of swords, 2 of pentacles, 10 of pentacles, Queen of pentacles and others. In the oracle book we have some descriptions of the images, but not the fairy tale from where they come from. Anyway, I use it for myself only, not for my costumers readings, and I always feel it very intense and with lovely caring with emotional matters.

My first thought is that the duplicates would be confusing, but I can also see that they might be fun and add emphasis when they come up together. (One hour later...) I just did a reading with both, and I did have one duplicate. It was the image for "Offering" in the oracle and 5 of Cups in the tarot. What is interesting is that they have almost the complete opposite meanings--the oracle says she's being given something, the tarot says it's being taken away. Definitely intriguing and worth exploring!

Hi Luna. I have the Arthur Rackham fairy Oracle, the same one you showed. Which is why I have not purchased the tarot. As you mentioned, there are a lot of similarities and duplicates in the two decks, so for now, I will stick with the Oracle. But I enjoyed this review. As I always do with you.

Aww...thank you for your kind words! With both of these decks, it's the artwork I really value. But if I had to pick between the two as a divination tool, it would be the oracle!
