@@RADGarage 4:12 where did you get the edge protection on your polisher holders where the polisher makes contact hanging on the holder? I can’t find anything decent for that purpose. 🙏
I absolutely admire your Garage Rick. It's beautiful! I someday wish to reach a fraction of level of awesomeness. 🤙🤙 great video... now I gotta watch my video?? 😂😂😂 jk my friend.. much love brother. Take care!
Well, when I heard you were going to do a tour video, I just had to follow your lead! I'm looking forward to seeing yours and following your evolution as you begin to dial it in. Always appreciate your support my friend.
Thanks. I appreciate the kind words. It’ll be interesting to see where things are at with this place in another year. While I feel like it is done, it never really is. 🙏
Great garage! One suggestion: build a low storage cabinet under the mini-fridge...you'll be able to store more towels and won't have to bend over to get a cold brew!
@@RADGarage I'm working on improving my garage right now. Got lots of inspiration from your video. Fortunately, I'm able to do some basic woodworking when I need to...
I’m glad to hear it. I love checking out other garages so be sure to let me know when your video drops my dude. I have taken much inspiration from your place.
It came about after a conversation with a very supportive Swedish viewer, and I was able to track one down with "RAD" in it! It is my way of letting all Swedish supporters know they are more than welcome in my garage!
I love it Rick! I'm gonna use your garage as inspiration for my garage one day. For now I just have a tiny carport that we closed in. Your garage is such a sanctuary.
Unfortunately, my wife and I are renters until next year, so I have only been able to do so much to upgrade our garage. Saying that, the functionality is about 500% better than it used to be and I was very proud of myself. However, you have given me some great ideas and something to shoot for after we buy! I stumbled across your channel and am now a subscriber. Thanks for the inspiration! (Now, if only I could get myself some sponsorships too......)
It always makes me feel good to know my garage inspired others. I waited 39 years until I got this garage. It was well worth the wait. Good luck with your current and future garage updates.
Thanks so much Anthony. Yesterday, a fire fighter crew was called to nearby house for a false alarm (luckily). They saw the garage and commented so I invited them for a closer look. It was so cool to have them visit and express how nice it was set up.
A functional garage is not always pretty but gets job done, and best of all, some Rad money! Thanks for throwing this video together Rick. On a side note, I miss the days when Calgary and Edmonton battled it out in the WHL Playoffs in 2013. I listened to every game from Spokane and grew to enjoy Jake Virtanen in Round 3.. what a series! Best of all my buddy MacKinnon knocked out the Winterhawks. Can't believe it's almost been ten years ago. Glad to find other detailers out there interested in hockey too!
Virtanen was a beast of a Hitman! It's been a weird season of hockey, but it keeps me somewhat sane during the cold and boring winters! Thanks for the comment. 🤘
I’m a little late in finally getting round to watching this episode. But that’s a true man cave or detailing garage to behold. Nicely organised as well 👍
Dang... that's a good idea...putting a dehumidifier in the garage. That'd drastically change the way the garage feels when detailing, especially if you're washing. Also... I love all your stainless steel shelving and racks and whatnot. I've been struggling hardcore trying to find some nice strong shelving that looks good and holds a nice amount. Right now I'm struggling with finding the space in my small garage and I need to get as much stuff off of the floors as much as I can so I have more space to walk around. I have a rolling wire shelf I need to get rid of so I have to find places to store all the stuff I have sitting on that haha. I just need a bigger garage I think, that'd solve the problem. :) I think that's what you've become really good at... finding ways to store away stuff and make space. Vertical storage and wall usage is the way to go.
The dehumidifier is essential. It’s not as big of a deal when the weather is nice, because on nice days I just open the door and the humidity level equalizes, but in winter that’s not always the case. I like looking for garage solutions everywhere I go. The kitchen section at IKEA was my favourite.
@@RADGarage Ikea kitchen section! I didn't think of that. We have an IKEA about an hour away from me now near my sister. I might have to make a trip if they have something nice in store
Rick, I first saw your garage 3-4 years ago on GJ, and the evolution to this point has been incredible. Your organization and detailing setup are the best!! I’m just setting up mine and definitely using yours as an example. Love the videos and channel, keep up the great work! 🍻🤘🏻
Awesome, just awesome. I know that I can only dream of having a place that would be mine. Just so organized. I see and hear your pride when you speak. Keep doing what you do. I really enjoy your videos. Till the next time.
Awesome video! Just discovered your channel and love seeing a local guy create content (I’m from Airdrie) and appreciate your comments about the Flames struggles. Keep up the great work!
Nice to connect with you Mike. You’ll see the Flames play a supporting role in a few of my narrated videos! Lifelong fan and I have the emotional scars to prove it! 😂
@@RADGarage Haha definitley lots of scars! Also, big shout out to Pan The Organizer who directed me to your channel. I had questions about washing your car in cities where you aren't technically allowed and your videos/website are excellent sources of information!
Thanks for sharing Rad! This is my absolute dream garage. I look to it for inspiration all the time. Once I own my own house and garage, I hope to one day have a set up half as nice as this.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Edgar Randy i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great idea to add the extra 4 feet I have two bays but wish we could add another bay never have enough room. Beautiful setup you have a lot of effort thinking and time has gone into be proud. 👍🏻👍🏻🇨🇦
This is stunning Rick! I’m still in college but this makes me excited for when I buy a house and start the garage project!Your garage has definitely given me such inspiration. Look forward to the details next week!!
Oh man, remember I told you I had a buddy named Brad Crockford that moved to Calgary from the UK when I was in 4th Grade? Well, his little brother is named Glen. LOL
Rick!!! I have that same hoody! 😉 Your garage is organized to perfection! "A place for everything, everything in its place". Love it! Love the tiled wall.
Very nice. I unfortunately don’t have a garage, and how I envy those that do. Isn’t it nice to have everything nice and organized? Thanks for the tour 👍✌️☮️
We are definitely a country that loves our garages. I had a vision of my garage since I was a kid. Happy to say reality has eclipsed my wildest childhood dreams!
Hi Rick ! Thanks for this garage tour ! It's always such a pleasure to see everything "tight and clean". The garage overhaul is now showing its practicality; The water drain and catch and the AR pressure washer set is the cherry on the cake ! I am so happy to see your "Gyeon" hall of fame 😍! WIsh you could give a shout out to your french Gyeon buddy 😂😂😂!!! Let me also thank you personally because during the several lockdowns and curfews we faced, and maybe a new one to come 🥵, it has always been such a real way to escape from this pandemic and a deep breath of oxgen. Wish you happy springbreak holidays ! Greg
@@RADGarage Anywhere you need long handled angled brushes. Sold as a pair in two different widths, I have used them in the Engine compartment and around the suspension.
Awesome garage, Rick... so jealous 😂. Thanks for the tour, really enjoyed see how you have it all laid out. Looking forward to your next detail, for sure!!
The organisation is insane Rick! Really love the darker color feeling... Its wierd to say but this garage is telling us a story with all these picture in the back and all the audi things...BTW These tire rack look pretty HD... think i’m gonna pick one one day! Im kind of jealous of you Audi cargo carrier too... everytime i see videos of your garage i’m like , man!! But they are a bit expensive haha Thanks for the tour ! 👌👌
Yes, I am glad you said that. I have really tried to bring some character and warmth to my garage without going overboard. I do like the clinical, stark garages too, but I'm happy with the way my theme has evolved over the years. I do like these tire racks, very solid and not cheap like some of the ones I see at the big box stores. These were $100 a piece back in the day, I'd be surprised if they were still that price. Thanks for dropping by!
Hey Rick awesome garage bro! I just subscribed to your channel and look forward to supporting you! I saw that great wheel off job you did with Pan. Keep up the good work bro!
Great stuff Rick. Love the subtle and major changes with every garage tour since the first . Keep it up buddy, happy spring and excited for your upcoming content.
Great “Tour” Rick. My wife and I watched tonight during our happy hour. I will never know how you get so much stuff in the space you have . The “Ultimate Organizer” in our book. Love your love of towels and love them myself. More more more is my motto. BTW .... do you have any “al-lew-many-um deck-als? Could be the next big thing!😂 We’re Fans For Life,. Thanks 😊
I love your garage, especially the clean look of the stainless steel shelves that hold your bottles! Can you tell me where to get them? Thanks so much!
I was hoping to hear or see what the beer of choice was in the garage fridge. That was always a staple of the MTV Cribs show back in the day, they had to show what was in their fridge. We need answers Rick
Your welcome Rick, I only wish you were closer I would definitely bring my truck to you for a detailing job. On one condition you stick a Habs licence plate on it while you are detailing it.😁😁😁
I waited a very long time before finally having a garage. I was 39 when we got this place. It has been an amazing 11 years of improvement and evolution. All the best to you and your pursuit of your garage dreams!
Thanks so much. I bought many linear feet of industrial pile carpet from Home Depot and just cut it to fit each of my worktops. Nothing fancy or expensive.
Thanks Gary. All of the shelving components you see in my garage apart from the new one I have to support my pressure washer, is from Ikea. I am not sure these exact components are still offered at Ikea, but that's where they all came from.
@@RADGarage thanks reply…. I will definitely check there …. Keep doing good work… there are people like me who appreciate this kind of information… thanks million
It only took me 6 to 8 months of begging for a garage tour but it was worth it !!!! So jealous of your garage brother. My garage is lit up so much that local police stopped by to see if I was growing " things" ...lol Got a Audi question for you. I love the mercedes-benz E63s 4matic plus....but thinking about a Rs7....your thoughts 🤔...much respect buddy
Hey Matt! I haven’t had any visits from the “POPO”...yet! I don’t think you could go wrong with either car. I was super impressed by the white E63S I detailed a few years ago. I got to drive it and it was probably the best drive I’ve ever had. I haven’t ever been in or driven an RS7 though.
As always ,you are my role model for a detailer. LOVE your garage, videos, soundtrack and all. One little thing, the link to your merch is not working for some reason... Keep it up man! And hello from Israel 🖐️
Hi there Rick. I absolutely love your garage and I’m in the final process of moving into my new home that has a garage. I would like to incorporate some of your ideas into my garage. Hope you don’t mind. I would like to know if you can tell me where did you get the stainless steel shelves from. I absolutely love the look of those shelves. Thanks for showing us your setup as it’s truly and inspiration.
Glad you enjoyed the tour! I had a few plans in mind, but 90% of this garage has resulted in me "going with the flow" as you said. That has meant I have redone certain aspects of the design a few times, but working on the garage itself has been a huge stress relief for me over the years. I find working "on" the garage as fun as working "in" the garage!
Thanks for your kind words about my garage. The carpet you see on my work surfaces is just low-pile industrial carpet you find at big box stores. Nothing fancy but it does help me maintain a cleaner looking space.
Salut tu a un garage de rêve pour tout ceux qui font du detailling félicitation tu doit pas avoir pensé de les faire en français ou les inclure sous titré merci
