Thank you for testing temperatures. I'm new to PC gaming and the 20 degree difference between the core and hotspot had me a little concerned but it seems its designed that way. My hotspot temp seems to sit at aboit 90⁰. For the price its not a bad entry level card for 1440p gaming. I paid £340 for it a few months ago and I'm very happy with how it performs.
Glad I could help, and yes the delta between the edge and hotspot on the RX6000 series is more than normal, but as long as it doesn't get up to 110c it's within spec.
Just got this gpu upgraded from a rtx 2060 ,running with a old 3600 ryzen , seems ok for now. will upgrade to the 5800x3d before pulled in to the am5 hype train
Holy SH*T! you tested War Thunder? Thank you so much. I was looking for a cost friendly upgrade to my RX590 to play WT and Warframe. Seems even the RX 6600 is capable of a good performance. Not need for me to shell more cash on RX6700's Thank you so much Speaking of tear-down, does the card have addiquate enough room for an NZXT G12 Kraken AIO cooler?
I just bought a secondhand 6700 xt mech card to go into the missus' pc/ my back up weekend early morning pc that I will pair with a 5800x3d. Should be a good combo for a 1440p monitor and I have some experience undervolting and overclocking both my youngest kids 6700xt pc build and a 6700xt build I had 2 years ago. The 6700xt core clocks have a fair bit of headroom if you put the time into it and set the minimum clocks within 100 mhz of the max overclock. The memory is just as workable but for games you don't see a lot of difference, good for benchmarks really.
@unholydonuts G'day mate. It was $379au, no odd fan noises at all. I reposted it as I thought it was running hot compared to another 6700xt that my kid has( sapphire nirtro+) Repasting didn't really make any difference though. Sits on low 70c in game.
If ur a gamer you NEED a AMDx3D V-cache (cpu) you will forget what bottleneck means my build is AMD rysen 7 5800x3D cpu and this graphic card.. the RX6750xt mechx2 and its a fps monster for most game at 1440p ! I decided to build my first gaming pc about 6month ago .. only thing i would change if i had a time machine is a Am5 socket and ddr5 motherboard for the next gen cpu and ram
great video, looking forward to teardown, i have the model mech 2x v1 and my htspot temperatures are more like 100 degrees gpu hotspot and the gpu edge around 78 to 80 degrees is preety hight. But is because i living in brazil here is hot like a hell. kk😓(sad)
Hi friend. I have the same model., v1.I think i have a problem because in stress check in adrenaline or monitoring with afterburner with the graphics board 100% , the Max Consum is 200W but this graphics has 250W in the information. The power is límited to 200W. Do you know what IS the problema? PSU 650 plus bronze and 2x8 cable connected
@@thunderfruit your video card is normal this model msi has limited the bios of the card to draw 200w maximum. gpu tgp maximum is 200w, I think msi did this to give a lower temperature but in my case it does not help much. if you want more power tool igors lab can unlock this 200w only that more than that by what I tested the card passes 110 degrees in the hotspot.
@@brunohpaz6277 its a bad news. Now my temperature is Max 74°C in 100% used. I want to down the power limit with afterburner and then to do low overlock but in AB, power limit and temp limit are blocked, surely by the bios graphics card or adrenaline sw. Now i can not undetvolt or OC. Its a problem, i can not to change the curve of power VS voltaje VS frequency
@@thunderfruit try to adrenalin software there you can overclook. bat de power limit is locked to 0% and the undervol not working there too. My car i undervolt for 1000v core 2620mhz but the temps plyaind god of war is plus 80 degrees gpu and plus 100 degrees hotspot and the memoru junction is 95 degrees. Next month I'm going to buy a better thermal past to see if the temperature at the bottom improves by 5 or 10 degrees. What I recommend is lowering the core clock to 2500mhz 2550mhz as these cards have an automatic boost by clock they undervolt by themselves reducing consumption and energy but at the cost of performance.
@@HardwareForGamers honestly, I think this card is underrated for the performance you get out of it. Truly the best bang for your Buck. 350$ is a steal.
Update* just got a 1440p monitor and running everything in ultra getting around 280 fps in cs2. And around 140fps in warzone. Monitor is overclocked at 260hz. Still a phenomenal card for the money.
I appreciate the detailed tests. Thank you. How much can I expect the FPS to go down by at ultrawide 3440 x 1440? I'm assuming by 1440p you tested 2560 × 1440. With 5600X 32Gb 6750 XT NVMe SSD, which component is likely to be the bottleneck?
All games will be different, but somewhere between a 20-30% drop when compared to 2560 x 1440. The bottleneck will again depend on the game. Some games it will be the CPU, but in others it will be the GPU. The most important thing for AM4 CPUs is fast memory not so much more. You'll want at least 3200 memory with the tightest timing possible.
Is a Ryzen 7 5700x3d (105 max tdp) with a Rx 6750 xt and a 600w gold power supply enough? My current card is a Gtx 1660OC that consumes a maximum of 125w, I believe that another 100w in a good quality 600w gold power supply would not be a problem.
TDP means nothing. The 6750xt calls for or recommends a 650w PSU. With that said, The Ryzen 7 5700x3d can pull upwords of 142 watts (PPT) and this 6750xt can pull upwords of 285w (would need to be OCed), so let's say 150w + 290w =440w. That means +/- 160w for the rest of the systems components (motherboard, SSDs, fans (fan controlers), and what ever else) which is likely do able...
330 for this card hard not to go for it at high settings everything work nice for shooters obviously all low settings there is no reason to have raytracing
nice to se my day day to day gaming 5700xt from 2018 outpeforme the first 2 cards on you´r list only aiming for 1080p and so far so goood 1440 is not for me but their it losed ground to 6700xt + cards been is wierd spot for a long tiem now and prices for gpu to day is jsut not worth it saw one of this cards on sale for the 350e but still same peformance and 550e+ for 7700xt is not worht it and the big brother no way
The fps will be pretty much the same with all 6750xt's the cooler will be the difference. Each company has high and low end 6750 cards, so there really isn't a best, more like good enough and NOT good enough.
Mine is running consistently at late 70’s core temps and even up to 85c when playing ultra high settings on most games with 1440p (get great frame rates though). Is it normal for temps to run hot on this card, have you found the same?
Max hot spot temperature for RDNA 2 GPUs is 115c. Temperature has a number of factors case, room temp, and fan speed. As long as you don't get that hot theres no issue.
Agradeceria tu respuesta 😊
Use MSI afterburner, go to settings click on allow voltage control. Hit apply. Then on the main afterburner window lower the voltage by -40mv. that's pretty much all this card will let you do. Hope that helps.
1080p 60? Or 1080p 144+? If you're monitor is 60hz then no I don't think it's good save money and go with a RX 6650xt or 7600. If you have a 144hz or higher then it might make sense.
is it any good for 1440p ? i dont play the latest games besides some from software stuff, id say id dont go over 2018 games tbh, should i go for the 6750xt (new) or a 5800xt(used), and later for a upgrade would a 7800xt be a good upgrade ? running a 5600x cpu btw.
If you're playing games from 2018 and older you likely can get away with a RX 6650xt for 1440p +80 fps. If you're going for +144 fps than the RX 6750xt is what I would recommend.
@@HardwareForGamers you can even get away with an RX 6600xt for 1440p gaming, and we don't even have FSR3 yet which will be a game changer for these less recent cards
