Radiator Springs Racers (On-Ride) Disney California Adventure

The time, effort and money that was thrown at this ride must be mind-boggling!

Even though I don't really like the Cars franchise..I do have to admit the safety voice over at the beginning is very clever: having the sheriff do the safety guidelines in English, and instead of just having a random Spanish voice, they have the actual Spanish character Ramone from the movie do it...that's actually pretty clever.

I got stuck on this ride near the end. They had to evacuate us, and I was sitting next to some Japanese teens takin selfies while doing it, which was pretty funny. Still a great ride.

Cars Land. They made the desert so realistic that I was getting hot just looking at it!

Think of how hard all those anamotronics were to program.

That is a very neat looking ride! So well done! The kiddy in me is saying: I WANNA GOOO!!

Wow normally these rides look boring to me. But this actually looks fantastic! Especially the animatronics and the race part at the end!

Wow, this ride is REALLY impressive.

This is one of those rides for me that became an instant classic even though I didn't grow up with it. It has a unique feel to it on its own a kind of old school roadtrip feel with its music and all and its well done. Although it seems that the tractors dont move anymore which kinda bugs me. PS anyone notice how lots of disney rides have named vehicles? Jungle Cruise, Thunder Mt, Pirates, Storybookland, Mr Toad, I think pooh characters are labelled on Pooh, snow white, etc This ride has like different fake plates for towns (states?) in the Cars world.

This is probably the best video of the ride I've seen. Really excellent. I look forward to riding the Radiator Springs Racers myself.

Rode it 3 times in 2013. Dreamed last night i was on it. That's why I felt the need to watch it again!

I always feel my stomach dropping instead of me on the final drop. I see my body dropping with the cart, can't feel anything, I hardly feel the wind. Only feels were in the stomach.

How could you not love this ride.

5:25 did anyone notice that Lightening McQueen's mouth is lower than necessary? might be poor aiming. Amazing ride though, especially the animatronics!

That outdoor scenery is an absolutely smashing demonstration of forced perspective. Everything looks so huge, when in fact it's quite tiny (relatively speaking).

It’s so blood pumping that when you do it in person like I did when the race starts it feels like your there forever and your never gonna stop going fast but watching this video I realized that is is only like 2 minutes and 30 seconds

The animatronic cars are unbelievable. Doc looks like he jumped out of the movie screen. And the I love that there's a race sequence. I need to go back to Disneyland!

I love how this ride has 3 distinct parts to it. A stroll through the canyon, a bit of a dark ride and then a rollercoaster esque race. Wonderful ride!

My childhood dreams would be fulfilled if I rode this.

I got a fast pass before they were all gone in less than 2 hours yesterday! The ride was awesome!

Man when i went onto this ride like 2 weeks ago i waited around 1 hour and 20 minutes to get on, but it was completely worth it.

Literally everything you could want in a ride- sentimentality, beautiful scenery, music, great audio animatronics/lighting/setting, interactivity, feels realistic, has a good plot, slow and fast, thrills, this list could go on forever,

I went on this ride earlier this week. It was truly amazing!! Beyond words!

Estimated before we got in line was 2 hours, took an hour and a half. After we got off it was upto 4 hours.

Looks awesome! I love Cars, and all the characters. And this really brings it to life, in as neat, and enjoyable way as possible.

The atmosphere that Disney created in this area of the park and along the line to the ride, is remarkable. It's especially rich at night with the lighting and neon. Was there about a month ago and I was lost in it. For someone who really loves the desert southwest, many kudos to the creative people at Disney. Oh - and the ride was fun, too!

This would be so perfect for frontier land at Disney World!!!!!

40mph, a little slower than the 65mph Test Track at Epcot goes.

I’ve only been on this ride once, and I would love to be able to go on it again. It was so much fun and it really lived up to the hype

The effects on this ride are so cool! They seriously did an amazing job designing this and making you feel kind of like you're in the movie.

For those who are wondering. Yes, this is the California version of test track I’ve been on both but I prefer test track

That's because Disney World is HUGE. Just the parking lot at the Ticket and Transportation Center is bigger than Disneyland Park. Then you have the Seven Seas Lagoon separating the TTC from Magic Kingdom by a mile. If you take the Monorail to Epcot it's a little over 3 miles each way.

Wow- this is one of those rides that Disneyland worth waiting in line for!

I love this ride so much! It is DEFINITELY worth going to the park extra early and lining up for the fast passes.

This ride looks great, the animatronics are incredibble and the ride looks fun. I live in Europe but I realy want to go there once in my life!

I’m very picky when it comes to rides, but this one hands down is my favorite! I would recommend !!!

Now they have new cars, and they go so much faster, it is insane for a car ride to go nearly 60 - 70 mph

My mom hates DisneyLand and California Adventure, but she said she liked this ride :)

Oh my gosh. After like tenish years my family went back to Disneyland and can u just say, this ride was amazing! Everyone thought it was cool, and being an animation enthusiast, I really appreciated how good the animatronics looked. Ya done good Disney, ya done good.

I've been on this ride, and it's absolutely SPECTACULAR!!! I know it's not a rollercoaster, but you get some nice airtime when racing!

spray paint side always losses just by chance all 3 times I have been on it, its the tire side and we have won same with friends and none of them have won on the paint side

DANG!!!! Im so impressed!!!!! Whoever was involved designing & constructing this ride did an outstanding job! The details are phenomenal & on point. Im blown away of how realistic it is to the movie. Epcot's Test Track on steroids. Better theming and racing element. I'd wait 2 hours to ride but maybe not 3.

I waited for 4 hours for the ride, and when we were almost there, they said the car broke down. Lame.

this ride is so cool. even though it might not be as fun as rollercoasters for me, it’s definitely one of my top favorite rides ever. ITS SO COOL

California Adventure is not worth the $96 maybe Half of that because you can literally finish up in 5 hours on a weekday
