It was privately filmed. ABC got access to copies of both the Saints / Radio Birdman performances that night but I don't think they ever got access to the original film. I was present in 1984 when the film of some of the Saints performance was copied to Umatic and I think VHS.

Thanks for the info mate, someone once told me the original is archived in Bankstown City Library. I have no idea if that's true or not.

That's where it was copied - I worked there at the time. I'm pretty sure we didn't take a copy. Greg Churm would know.
