When asking for flight following keep it brief initially, callsign and "request flight following" or "VFR request". We immediately will then know you're VFR, and not think you're trying to pick up IFR and scroll through our proposed IFR flight plans. And honestly I'm just trying to remember your callsign or write it down so anything extra you say initially may just go in one ear and out the other. Most of us controllers would rather have you drop the "K" when spelling out your destination airport identifier. It confuses us more than it helps. Keep up the great videos!
If I was FFA, I'd get the guy recording the ATIS message fired :D .. delivering critical messages in garbled voice is dangerous, most pilot would just ignore what he said thinking..yeah yeah yeah...
It always sounds a bit strange. After listening to it several times, you learn to understand it. Some bigger airports, class C and D have digital Atis. Which is nice.
