Jingles, Jingles, is the sound that radio stations played back in the day. We are fortunate to have the King of the Jingles, our own Tracy Carmon. Tracy is on special assignment at the TM Jingle studios in Texas. He will give us a quick tour of their facilities. You will learn the secret of trades and the singers and musicians that performed on these jingle packages. Did you know that the Wrecking Crew performed on many of the jingles you hear on the radio?
We also talk about the Grateful Dead. Barry Bergman's son is a professional archivist for the Grateful Dead music and other things.
Who remembers Toads Place in New Haven. Well we have a good conversation and some history of Toads Place. More to come later on.
