Since I'm more of a DIY guy, thanks to these videos I'm gonna buy a very cheap, super used C200 W203 and fix it myself as time goes by. I'm tired of new cars and their poor build quality. Hi, you don't need to put the remote cable ? My new radio doesn't switch on when I turn on the car.. And I thought that was due to the remote cable because it's not plugged, but in your video you don't plug it too.. can you confirm please ? Thank you

I was able to make the steering wheel controls work on my car. Extra adapter for 50$ did the trick.

Hey I’ve been having trouble trying to install a new radio in my c230k bendz. I go to bestbuy & they all say I need a wiring harness .. did you have to buy a wiring harness ? If so what other additional parts did you have to buy ?

Did anyone have problems with the SRS warning after installing the radio?

Great video, happy I found it! Is the steering wheel control the only thing done by the extra 2-wire connector or does it do more? Does the radio work 100% without those 2 wires? Maybe speed signal for automatic volume control? Just asking to determine if I need a steering wheel adapter when I change my radio ;-)

i saw your SRS warning came up, I did the same radio replacement and I had the same srs warning. is something to do with climate controller?

Does it disable steering wheel controls on dash or just for radio

Is that the AUX pin behind the heater vents? If so that saves me a lot of work.

The screws are T20, not T15.

does the stock radio have a code ? if I remove and are not able to get the nee one in. will it require a code to the old radio to make it work?

i have 3 connectors on orginal radio on my w203 but only 2 ports on the new radio. where to instal the 3rd and lowest 2 pinned? radio wont start.

Some companies supply adapters which allow you to use steering wheel buttons with aftermarket stereos

I have Heard that people struggle with the stereo not getting any power, did you tap any power from the cigarette lighter or something? And if not, how did you Get any power to the stereo?

I just tryed to install my Sony stereo in my c200 and there is no ignition live wire

Very good video but so bad that if the original audio player is replaced the steringweal buttons doesn't work. Is that mean that no point to change the audio player?

There was no need to take it all out when it wasn't the original radio, you just have to take the radio out of the lime with the buckles and that's it
