Hey, very interesting stuff. I've heard argon or neon gas will ionize into plasma when placed next to a radioactive source (if the radiation is strong enough). Can you do an experiment where you place an ampoule or argon or neon gas next to some americium-241 and see if it lights up? I'm intrigued to see how many it takes before the gas turns into plasma

I’m just using latex gloves. It’s just to prevent from handling it with my bare hands. But remember, if you are following my steps you are handling something radioactive, so you do so at your own risk. Keep safe!
