Road course race distances are shorter than oval race distances because road courses take longer to lap. I think the reduced race distances are a bit much though. Watkins Glen needs a 300, 350 mile event.

Because Danica also is one of the whiniest drivers in the field and can't back it up with talent. I mean it was last year or so where she got pissed, tried to take someone out, and just wrecked herself. When you do something like that it just makes her a joke to the rest of the drivers. She hasn't done much to earn the respect of them and until she does thats how she'll get raced. And don't know how good the team and equipment is? I'm sure she has just as good as the rest of the SHR cars. Harvick is 4th in points, Bowyer is 10th, Kurt Busch is 14th, and then there is Danica down at 28th in points. The other drivers have no problem being up in at least the top 15 so I highly doubt its the equipment but the driver.

I agree with your statement. Heck look at Kurt Busch this year, he has not done to much better than Danica. He won the 500 at the start of the season after that, he has not done to much. Harvick has been up there a few times, but nothing like he was a few years ago. Clint is doing way better in the 14 than Stewart did last season. Overall Stewart-Haas is struggling this year a bit, since they switched to Ford. Ironically Danica has been doing the best she has done though in her career, more top 15's more often. Yeah top 15's are no top 10's or 5's, but its better than half the field. Like you said, half the field aint doing much year after year the same fill in's. And come on this is the top series of Nascar.

Paul Menard isn't a good example at all. In 2014 and 2015 when RCR wasn't sucking Austin Dillons dick giving him the best cars Menard ran top 10. Menard even said it himself he is fine riding around and to add on never is aggressive with his driving and doesn't wreck his cars making whichever team he's on spend much less on new equipment every weekend. Also he isn't buying the ride, he has Menards as a sponsor every week and like I said before doesn't wreck at all which is extremely important for a team to not go bankrupt. Paul also has never been given the best cars. RCR has been his best team in his career and he has never been in the best equipment on the team. In his first couple years with RCR Harvick was the star of the show with the best cars week in and week out. 2014 comes along and now Newman is in the best cars. 2016 rolls up and Austin Dillon (fucking disgrace to nascar that this shit head is gifted this) now has the best cars. In the few Paul has been gifted good cars in he has ran up front, most notably every cup race at restrictor plates since 2013, and Auto Club and Pocono in 2014/2015 (not sure about 2016 if memory serves me correctly). Little biased but this "Paul Menard is only in cup because his dad" mentality has pissed me off past year or two. Literally everyone in the cup cars is in their ride because of close ties to someone with serious money AND Menard has never been top 10 cars in cup.

People tend to forget that she started in carts and worked her way up to be leading a big chunk of the Indy 500, before she went to Nascar. By in large Nascar has gotten much better with drivers having to execute race craft instead of just brute force to get past. A racing incident is all buneo baby, good respectful wheel to wheel. The second you have to hit a driver to improve your position you have lost my respect. Look at that truck race from a few years ago. 2nd place rams 1st in the last corner then proceeds to push him to the wall where they both drag race, THROUGH THE GRASS, while crashing each other to the Start/Finish line HOW THE HELL the guy that was in 2nd still has a racing license is beyond me. Thats not racing its attempted assault.
