G'day mates - Radioddity very kindly sent me their GC-5 for review. So here it is.... nothing sugar coated - no pyrotechnic technical talk which I I don't know how to do anyway, hahaha. Just a plain and simple 'let's open the box' and then ask/answer some simple questions 'does the radio work? is the menu system easy to navigate? is it easy to turn on the offset, and tone for a repeater? Is the audio any good? what is my audio sounding like? does it receive and transmit well with the antenna that comes with it?'
If you’re interested in my interpretation of the GC-5 then awesome! I had a ton of fun with this video. To say I was surprised was an understatement…. So at the end of this video, the begging question is a burger and a beer or a GC-5? They basically cost the same. hahaha.
