Everyone tries to explain this song - saying it was about him liking a woman but really, it's the anthem of all of humanity. That's why it has almost a BILLION views today.
LOVE this song. I think everyone can related to it or remember a time they could relate to this. It's so raw. Two other favorites of mine by Radiohead are called "Fake Plastic Trees" and "High and Dry".. High and Dry is more polished, but really beautiful. Fake Plastic Trees is intensely raw......
The clean barre chord arpeggios with a lot of reverb during the verse and that Chuga-chuga into the chorus is super heavy and distorted. It's like a total catharsis.
The lead singer was in a bar when he was to shy to approach this beautiful woman. So he watched her for a bit, like a creep, and when he finally built up the nerve to speak to her, she called him a creep and a weirdo.... Now we have one of the greatest songs ever made. Love your reaction to it. Best one I've seen and I've watched a lot of them. Lol
I always think about Ronald Miller from Can't Buy Me Love when I hear this song. They thought of him as a creep too and he just wanted to be a part of their beautiful world, even for a little while.
Reaction from every youngster is always brilliant✊😉♥️ I’m in my 60s😂😂but only know it cos was hammering outta my kids rooms in 90s🤣🤣🤣🤣 ♥️way bass player just waits to hammer that guitar🥰👍😉 Damn!! Even I can still remember feeling like that as a teenager!! Nobody’s ever as cool as they wanna be 😭💔😉👍
It’s really sad that so many young people are mostly only aware of music from their personal time period. It’s the state of today’s music industry I guess. When I was a teen I was aware of contemporary music and music from decades before me. I’m glad to see that you are allowing yourself to experience different music .
"This was the hit song of the first album Pablo Honey. It's a large rabbit hole to dive down. You should check out songs from the second album "The Bends" where they really blew up. songs like Just, High and dry, Fake Plastic Trees, The Bends, Blackstar, Street Spirit, My Iron Lung.
Please do a reaction to "Jason Isbell's" song "Cover Me Up. He sings it the best but if you want a close second, and better video to watch, then get "Morgan Wallen's" version. also "Radiohead" Fake plastic trees, as others have already mentioned, is amazing. Always looking forward to your vids!
By far my favorite Radiohead song. Thanks nephew. 🤎🤎🤎🖤🖤🖤. Twon you aught to react to Dave Chappelle, (yes the comedian, Dave Chappelle), sing Creep, by Radio head. 🤎🤎🤎🖤🖤🖤
Creep is their most popular song but it doesn't capture the sound of the band in the slightest, I suggest listening to either, Weird fishes, How to disappear completely, Paranoid android or 2+2=5 for a better idea on Radiohead :)
great song for sure...but talking about the ladies...all of us without fail felt this dang way for sure...LOL...no matter what.......you meet this one and suddenly you understand how damn creepy you really are...LOL.....for sure.
It's a must listen, but this is from there first album and really ruined their start. Because no one could see past it. Every album sounds different, keep diving into them man. In Rainbows album is literally full of bangers. Jigsaw falling into place for fast pace. Weird fishes, Nude, Reckoner, house of cards. I could basically just name every song on the album
I have always loved this song even though I’ve never really liked this style of music. I’ve always been diverse with liking different types of music but I can’t stand techno or really heavy rock but for me anything else goes from the days of Roy Orbison to todays music.
Never stop listening to Big Pete. His taste is impeccable. Ask him what he thinks of Ed Sheeran’s You Need Me, I Don’t Need You. It’s almost entirely rap but it’s melodic too. He’s influenced by Eminem. I think Big Pete would approve. Lol!
