Hey there! Thanks so much for uploading this video. I'm fairly new to this and there's so much to learn and understanding all the instruction manuals and all the different abbreviations is mind boggling. Can't wait for the weather to improve and i'm feeling up to speed and i'll be out in the field.
Muchas gracias.
The Spektrum DX6 has voice alerts and has model match. If you dig around you can find them a little under $200. Still not sure about it yet. I love the Taranis, but the receivers are too pricey. The telemetry is nice, but I really just don't need it.
Daniel Garner It all depends on what your needs are, really. If 6 channels are enough for you then the DX6 should suffice (even though for that amount I would still go with the Taranis). We're talking about a 9ch, s-bus 10ch capable radio, with loads of programming possibilities for 100$ here. With that price tag a radio like this is hard to find. Plus the receivers are around 15 buck a piece Not saying it's the best though, but if you're on a budget...
Olá Sérgio, boa noite! Pelo que percebi ficou muito bem impressionado com este rádio. Estou tentado a comprar o mesmo e queria saber se para si, e nesta ordem de valores, considera haver alguma alternativa que seja preferível a este? Obrigado e bom ano!
do you know how to set the switch to turn on and off the lights and turn on the buzzer to find your quad for switch E on the at9? I have the storm racing drone 280 v3
Im planning on using this on a. 20cc gasser. Is this a reliable radio for this kind of airplane kit? Its a p40 warhawk kit by top flite. I used to have a futaba 7cap(pcm not 2.4ghz)
Hi, Got a question about if there is any chance or way to bind the unit to an any rc that already came with its own remote controller instead? Because i happened to bought this before any research on.Thanks
I have an AT9 and have found most of the programing ok. I have set up aux channels and the switches (3 and 2 way) show that they are working in the radio. When I go to Cleanflight, fliping the switches will not show on Cleanflight. This means I can not set up any aux channels. Have I missed something?
olá sergio tudo bem, gostaria que vc me ajudasse com uma duvida sobre o radiolink at9,comprei um e gostaria de saber se o alcance do at9 e bom e se posso voar aeromodelo glow com ele?
Hi Sergio, thanks to your previous advice, I ordered the At9, hopefully will have it here next week. you spoke about having an external RF module, how is that done exactly?
+Zains Jewellery Hi Zains, sorry for the late response. Regarding the external module you can get PPM signal from the radio though the trainer port. This means that you can get a signal from the radio and input it in a external module like a Orange LRS, or a EZUH (these for long range) or even a FRsky 2.4Ghz module.
Hi there thanks for the great video. I'm going to buy ether the new AT9S or the AT10 they are pretty much the same price, do you see any big advantages of one over the other?
Hi, thanks a lot for the video! I received an AT9 today and so far so good but I find the acoustic feedback of the controls (the beep) to be quite annoying, do you know if it's possible to disable it and how? Abraco
Heh, turns out I had an old firmware. I used the instructions from your other video to upgrade to the latest FW and now there's an option on the parameters menu to turn it off.
Ok so this has no RSSI signal strength. But can you connect the telemetry port to the naze32 for battery voltage or do you need another module? I just watched a video of a russian guy that went out to 4000m with the standard kit. I like the looks of this for a number of reasons. Thanks thumbs up!
Hi. In fact it has RSSI. You can see the signal strength in the radio. It has a little indicator for signal strength. Regarding battery voltage you can acquire a telemetry module that will display the voltage for you. I don't own a naze32 but I'll be ordering one to make some videos about configuring it with this radio. Cheers.
+Sergio Pereira Thanks for the quick reply. RSSI is important. Battery voltage is nice but a buzzer is easily added to the naze for a battery warning which will suit most as most don't go far with quad racers. Adding module may weigh too much. Cheers
the at9 because i got a good price on a used one that had never been out of the box.$48. but i can't find much support and i'm not sure if i can customize it, like the taranis. i did buy a flysky th9x and a smartie parts board wich will be customizable and is able to control any protocol, actually 190+ protocols. thanks for the reply.
+QuadroRC Hi, I don't understand the issue. Why would you want to reset a receiver? It's not bound to the model. It's bound to the radio. Unfortunately the AT9 does not have model match so... again I don't understand the issue.
Sorry, What I should have said was : I've bound 2 RX into 1 model program by accident and now, I could control both vehicles with 2 separately equipped RXs at the same time (and this means disaster). Hope I made it clear to understand this time.
+Aaron .T Hi Aaron, yes it is. You can get PPM signal from the trainer port. The radio also alows you to shutdown the RadioLink module through the settings.
Daniel Garner Hi Daniel. Note really sure about what do you mean with "model match" but regarding the other 2 here it goes: - In fact it does not have voice alerts but on the other hand it has both sound and vibrating alerts. - In direct sunlight it could be better but it stands side by side with some other well known radios. Don't know about the intentions of RadioLink about upgrading the radio with voice alerts but you need to keep in mind that this is probably the best radio you can buy in the 100$ price range.
so far im reading that this radio is okay...but there isnt a lot of support for it and its not exactly widespread. i started with a DX6i, it fell and broke so I grabbed the ORX T6, that was a good radio but it didnt have a 3 way switch, so then i moved over to the 9XR. very powerful radio with a lot of neat features. but the switches are mapped all over the place and there is just no way to manipulate them all without some crazy hand dance . i grabbed the TGY i10 and thats where I am right now. I like it, but it also suffers from being a budget radio with min support and upgrades. what i really want is a radio that has model match, lots of model memory. and can talk to me so I dont have to try and read a washed out screen with sunglasses on. and I want to spend as little money as possible to get there. im not unwilling to pay for decent quality, i just dont want to overpay for a brand.
Daniel Garner Well I'm afraid you're gonna have to spend some more then. The cheapest radio you can find with all those features is the FRSky Taranis. It ranges between 220$ to 240$ plus shipping. RadioLink have been releasing upgrades for this radio so it's just a matter of waiting to see if the upcoming upgrades will bring some of those features.
Sim.
