We take a look at the new v2.1 receivers for the Radiolink RC8X! These are high performance, low latency receivers in the 3-4ms range. I test them out and see how they perform.

Cool remote and review, nice run on the track

Good info...glad to know. 'Funny' thing is, after "thinking about" getting the RC8X for the past 6 months, I finally pulled the trigger, and ordered it (plus a few extra R8FG v2.1 receivers) a few days ago. Estimated delivery is this Thursday. On top of that, I'll be selling my Futaba 7PX ('primaries' will be the RC8X & Noble NB4). Primary use of the RC8X (combined with a TBS Crossfire) will be for speedrun cars. On an unrelated note, I like the current NorCal track. Not sure who designed the layout, but, please, tell Eric it looks good. Still missing San Jose...but, Las Vegas is being good to me.

I am looking at the Rc8x to replace my Futaba for speed running. Any feedback ?

@@wasa7 Unfortunately, not yet. Using the RC8X, I was all set to do the post-upgrade shakedown & video...but team into a (self-caused) problem...the 'problem' being that I had forgotten to swap out the Hot Racing pinion (used as a spur) for the Saga RC pinion. The HR pinion was rubbing (and, I DON'T mean "lightly") against the motor mount, causing extreme friction. As such, I had to abandon the run. Hopefully, I'll be able to try again next Friday (depending on the weather, ie. heat, as were in triple-digit weather).

You can get distance of 10km and more depending on which fpv tx you get. This is a regular fpv system, just outputting to the screen of the controller.

That' cool, I'm thinking about getting an RC8X soon i don't plan to use it as a race radio i already have a Futaba 4PM that will be run in my race buggy my RC8X will mainly be a basher and speedrun radio. One question how is the signal quality on the RC8X? i really want to know how good or bad it is before buying one.

I would love to see this run in a no prep car. Not your thing, I know, but with adjustable throttle points should be a good choice.

With the new protocol and latency improvements do you think anything in it's price range is as good?

In my opinion, no. Radiolink has the price, range, features, and now low latency. It truly is the best bang for your buck.

How does this compare to your mt44 with the latency?

how do you know the latency is 4ms? From instruction manual?
@RazorRC
@RazorRC Год назад
you choose it when you bind
@howintesting940
@howintesting940 Год назад
@@RazorRC So that is not a measurable latency, but a setting that is actually servo's driving frequency, 250Hz, 333Hz
@RazorRC

@@howintesting940 250hz = once every 4ms
