That’s a more appropriate place for RC’s I’ve seen RC’s ripping around baseball infields & I’m just thinking someone is going to be mad because the infields have to be maintained but so do dirt bmx jumps I know that those particular type of jumps with the hard packed dirt are not easy to make or maintain it’s not a matter of there’s no one using it it a maintenance issue. I’ve never had negative comments about crawlers but it seems like the faster bashers is what people will make a negative comment. I had someone complain I was making dust & getting their car dirty & it was mostly in a paved area in a park & not a lot of people out. I’m extremely picky now about where I bash because I’m just trying to enjoy being out with the RC’s that’s why we have them. 👍
It may be 'unbalanced' however its very predictable... this truck really comes down to driver experience and skill level. Of course you can tune it to your driving style.
No, no thanks. I don't have proper health care, so i am a member of Grey Cross Health Insurance. It's low cost, but it allows me to get the bi-decade colon cancer screenings from the comfort of my own home. They Greys just come in, do the exam, erase my memory, steal some DNA and baby-juice, and they're off to Uranus. How do i know they performed the exam when they eeased my memory? I wake up with my jammies inside-out. So, no thanks, I've seen ebough alien technology for a lifetime. Arrma can just keep their weird raygun-shaped butt wrenches to themselves. I've had enough aliens, thank you very much.
Quick question . On my k6s when I go in reverse the wheels really move fast to one side . I make sure or not do this but was wondering if it has anything to do with the servo saver thing maybe needs tightened . Just servos broke so far . I ll do this on the new granite v3 after one run to check it out . Maybe it will save the arrma stock servo ? 😂 so far I just wore out several diff cups on a rlaarlo cf ot
Thanks for this vid' . Gave me a basic idea.confirmation of the upcoming challenge, placing a similar size (if not smaller LoL) on the L hook thru the slot mech' of a Carb', new "Choke Pull-off" . With restricted view, uncomfortable access dist., space clearance less than inch on both sides, .... LoL A '82 Ford F-100 V6 3.8L M3oT op'
I have a 22X4 Elite and jI can't jive with shaft drive, so I picking up one of these, tomorrow.. Belt drive cars are just smoother and the torque of the drive shaft tweaking the chassis, like strong servos did, before floating mounts is most unpleasant.I bought a KC Cougar and the L1R is very much like a 4WD version of that car, many common parts. I put the alloy bleeder shock caps on my Cougar and I'll do the same to the L1R. Nice review, thanks!
TY for the video but next time you are more then welcome to leave the music out .....Painful to watch with that so called sound over and over and over ugh !!!
I think if you want to hit bigger jumps it still needs more power to prevent it from nose diving. And you have to really get the feel of you want to jump it I’m getting better but my first attempts where like yours & nose dived. But it’s touchy in the air too much throttle & the front goes way up not enough & you nose dive. It’s super fun & actually a good size to take out whenever you want but once you get a feel is when you really start having fun.
Great video, one question: in the adds for this RC, it does not show/say anything about a motor fan? Did yours come with one, or did you install it? Thank you
I know you're skeptical about the drivetrain but just not enough power for the plastic diff cases to be an issue (not even with brushless). A bigger concern, in my mind, is that brushed motor. Really pushing it to its limits with the size and weight of this I know price always plays a part but don't see many of these staying brushed?
I just picked up the Black one and I’m quite impressed at performance and handling. Reduced the spin-out by reducing the toe out when front suspension is compressed . Has more than enough power. 👍🏼
Ive been ripping mine, i love it. Added a couple of the rlaarlo upgrades and a 120a hobbywing esc. Such good value for money. My only big gripe is the 1.5 hexs rlaarlo use and some of the smaller screws can be a little soft. Good to replace with some stronger 2 hex ones
That's our track... lol We go there every Friday and my friends are the ones who Laid all that carpet and the plastic pipe down....... Glad to see people using it 🙌🏽 😌 👌 🙏🏼
I live in the area, I’ve been there a couple of times now. Thanks for doing that!!!! I’m definitely going to be there this weekend for a little bit of a Father’s Day bash!
I'm looking to replace my (terrible handling) hypergo 14210. How does this rlaarlo compare to the rival mt10? And are there any other cars i should consider?
@@RazorRC Thank you so much for your comment. I don't think I really have a preference for a size as long as it is larger than the HyperGo (1/14) and not larger than 1/10 scale. I am looking for an all-round car that performs reasonably well on the street, grass, off-road or a small BMX park. What is very important to me is that the car handles well. The HypergGo was my first RC and I am really disappointed with it, it has a strong tendency to flip over and there is just too much delay in the ESC. Replacing the transmitter/receiver, upgrading steering components and adding a gyro did not help enough, nor did wider tires and spacers help. I've just spend to much time and money on trying to make it handle somewhat decent (which it still doesn't). It's fairly frustrating. Now I just want a car that is decent straight out of the box.
I've seen this version on Amazon already marked down to $212. That's a crazy good deal for this rig. I like mine a lot and aside from not reading the instructions on how to work the radio functions I've not had any issue since day one. Does anyone know how to turn the lights on? All I've found I'd a button that makes them come on by only while you hold the button. Also the gyro went nuts when i turned it on. I'm pretty sure that was something i did tho.
Awesome video, I honestly just ordered one yesterday for my boys. They are 6 and 8 and they run my granite well but they just can’t figure out how to use the slipper clutch to handle. I was hoping this with the center diff would maybe be a bit easier for them to get the hang of. What are your thoughts? I bought the carbon edition
@@chrisperrywv yessir. I went to thicker power wires, ic5 , and a powerful fan. It runs like a top on 4s … it rips like you wouldn’t believe! I ran it totally stock on 4 s with no problems but if you ran it hard nonstop it would heat up a bit… nothing thermonuclear or anything, just to warm for my liking. That’s why I did the wiring
Hi mate I got the Rlaarlo omni terminator RZ001B-C and I've had nothing but problems with the electronics. I've replaced motor with 3652 3100kv esc with a 120amp hobbywing and controller GT5 gyro. And Louise Mt cyclone wheels. And now it's a backflip Skatepark machine. Great video mate 👍 👌 👏 🤣🤣
It's the drag brake, which can't really be adjusted which is disappointing but not an issue if you stay on the throttle. You can adjust the drive center point on the remote to help reduce the drag brake some as well
Where is this? Looks like a fun place to play. Have you tried the Pleasanton BMX park? Next time you go out there, take a shovel and a garden sprayer. Tell them you're doing maintenance.
I think they should fit the 6s esc motor in these an make chassis unbreakable upgrade shafts all metal and stop making the 6s kraton s as plastic lighter way to go way better
