Very cool project! I never changed from my first radio, which is the tango 2. i love the size, but have barely touched other radios. But this vid is making me think of a case mod! :) great vid, broll was sick!

i did my boxer the same way and it looks sick i went for bright orange and i love it :D sadly just found this video after im done you have to make sure to cover the insides of the buttons or clean them out before the paint is to dry otherwise the buttons wont move very well otherwise its pretty easy (aside from getting the nuts on the switches lose :D )
I really want to upgrade my Radiomaster Pocket!!! With Blue gimbals and a Black shell. But there are no blue gimbals available as far as i know. Which chair do you use btw?
If they feel completely different, have you thought about trying to tighten or loosen the gimbal spring adjustments to the same setting your old gimbals had? Or have u already played around with the tensions etc? Btw u deserve more followers! I thought u had way more before i looked at your channel after that video!
I think the difference that I felt comes from the stick travel distance, with the installed LEDs the gimbal now sits deeper into the housing so that is what I am suspecting to be the issue. But it kinda got alright after the 17th pack. I will still try on your suggestion and play around with it though. Did you mod yours as well?
@@CurlyFPV i also have a question! Because your gimbals sit deeper inside the radio, when you max out your gimbals do they touch the housing of the boxer?
@@animox6303 hello hello..no it doesn't bur if you are a pincher then maybe the fingers will kinda get in between the sticks and the housing..then again just need to get use to that. I think the whole thing is the only drawback after installing the LEDs. Don't know if there are any gurus out there that can solve this.
@@Gumby_FPV difference is hugeeeee bro! I kinda got use to it after the 17th packs! Due to the LED I installed the gimbal sits deeper in the radio so for that first pack u saw on the flight video..I was flying like shit man..and sorry for the cursing in the vid hahahaa
@@OldManse09 just the letterring? Guess you need to send it to the pros man it will be so difficult to mask them! I guess the only way is using a paint brush? But that's hell lotta work. If you are going for it I wanna see mate.
