Another earth Mom here in the U.S. So happy for you both that you treated yourselves to the Hotel Savoy. Spectacular! Can't wait to see the wedding. You are a trooper and Aisha is such a darling. Hope your treatments aren't too grueling. As a nurse, my advice to you is to make sure and take your pain meds before the pain kicks in. You have to knock it down before it grabs hold.
I had brain surgery and had the back of my skull removed to make more room for my brain and brainstem, so I have a pretty good idea of the kind of pain you're in, and my god, do I feel for you. 😢 Try putting some ice on the back of your head and neck. Lay flat on your back with the ice tucked under your head and neck. Roll up a towel or use a neck pillow under the curve of your neck if your icepack isn't bulky enough to press on the base of your skull while you're lying down. I swear by icing, because even the strongest pain meds can't fix that kind of pain and pressure. It's so heartbreaking seeing you go through this. I would honestly take it all away from you if I could. You have such a beautiful life and you definitely deserve a long one. With you being one of the strongest people in the world, I wouldn't be surprised if you do have a long and happy life, in the end. Sending love to you and Aisha. 💜

My wife and I just lost a close friend to pancreatic cancer yesterday! I hate what “it” takes away! However you have shown me that happiness and positivity can change the world! Hi Emily. Just found your channel lastnight, have watched about 10 vids already. Love your positive attitude in the face of adversity, and laughter they say is the best medicine! I was diagnosed with stage 1 bowel cancer in 2016. Had two major surgeries, two rounds of chemo and 5 weeks of radiation. Radiotherapy really worked for me as I had been in a lot of pain 24/7. After 5 treatments the pain subsided, after 10 I was pain free. Thoughts are with you on your journey. And glad you have so much support!
