The boy doesn't seem to have any training. HIs stance looks like he is in a striking match not grappling, and he didn't know any ground technique either.
Sometimes courageous boys agree to roll with girls because girls oftentimes have no one to roll with...even if there's a size/age difference. I don't know if that was case here, but either way, she had ownership over him...and probably lives in his mind free of charge even now!
Once as a young boy about 8 to 10 a girl about my age maybe 1 year older pinned me like this & I could not even wiggle my toes. s.g. pin they say--a bit humiliating !!
