Pity they never made a film of 54 Sqn's Phantoms making a survival scramble during one of our exercises at Coningsby in the early 1970's. That was spectacular - and noisy!
The typhoon with the RAF100 on its tail, is that Flt Lt Jim Peterson because he was the Typhoon Display Team pilot for 2018 and he had that on the Eurofighter he was flying. And he’s in 29 sqn at RAF Coningsby.
It's a possibility. The RAF100 jet was not reserved strictly for the display team or Flt Lt Peterson however it is possible that he was participating in the flypast and that he was flying this aircraft. Thanks for watching
