This is a cine-transfer of a reel of film I own - please enjoy!
The first 3 minutes or so are a little dark. The film has no audio so I have added music to it - It's not to everyone's taste so either turn it down and make your own jet noise or listen to some of your favourite music!

Gosh, that takes me back to when my parents took me to the airshow as a kid in the early 1960s. It was fantastic, as is this film. I remember standing near a chicken wire fence and watching (feeling!!!) a "Vulcan scramble". Not a thing you forget.

I went to primary school when I was a kid at Gaydon 1970-74 the whole place had a special atmosphere about it.Watching the Red Arrows practicing was a regular thing...We lived at near bye Temple Herdewyke at CAD Kineton I loved that whole area it's a very special place

Thanks for that, it took me back. I was there in 1968 or 1969. One thing I remember, apart from ripping a hole my school trousers on the wing of a ME109, well was the Lightning. While the crowd were distracted by some troop shenanigans on the runway a Lightning came screaming very very low from behind the crowd, so fast no one heard it coming. It scared the bejesus out of the crowd as it screamed overhead then stood on its tail and rocketed straight up into the sky. Wonderful stuff. Sadly not allowed to do that sort of thing anymore. Airshows are a bit tame these days.

Also my dads cousin flew vulcans out of Gaydon so could well have been him at the controls in the film!

Just found this, and I'm pretty sure I was there, as a lad! Do you know what year? I have a strong memory of the Vulcan taxiing away from the static display, literally right over our heads, before taking off. Health and Safety hadn't been invented in those days!

Nice to see some decent footage of the Victor B(Mk2). There doesn’t seem to be a lot.
