Also his character arc. He was an arrogant jerk and then turned its a a witty sassy person and helped/supported every team members especially Benson and would to, to the death.

This character literally had me watching dozens of episodes of a show I'd never been interested in before just to see him 😭 I've now seen every episode Barba is featured in, and all within two months despite not really being a fan of SVU... I am a maniac!!!

i’m so excited!!! i really hope he’ll appear in more than one episode too. i saw on twitter he is listed as ‘recurring cast’ so fingers crossed 🤞🏼😭 and a double fingers crossed for barson to become canon🙈🙈
