I don't think JF-17 is comparable to Rafale on 1-1 base, but PAF has operational data-link (while IAF is yet to implement it) and has fully developed network centric warfare which can help jf-17.

Rafale is a medium combat aircraft whereas JF-17 is a light combat aircraft. Price of a unit & maintenance cost is the key difference. Price of one Rafale is US$ 120 million. If you include weaponry, maintenance and mid-life up-gradation, the cost will be around US$260 to US$ 280 million whereas the total life cycle cost of JF-17 will be approx US$ 90 to US$ 100 million.
It might have retractable, because even block 1-2 have those, doesn't matter it's endurance depends on its oxygen carrying capacity and it won't ever beat tejas or rafale in that, especially tejas which has obogs

Gripen uses Gallium Nitride based radar while klj 7 is gallium arsenide radar. GAN radars are more much power efficient and most countries are still working on them, even US. It's said that in terms of radar gripen ng is comparable to/better than f22/f35

Only if the missile launch to his hostile is 150km plus it will be easier for fighter jets to escape however it will be difficult for high value targets like AWACS but if the missile launched before 150 km like around 100 120 km the missile will be affective against fighter jets as it will remain its Mach speed before reaching 150km so pl15 will be giving buff performance of meteor and aim120 in Bvr capabilities both against fighter jets and AWACS

@@lavenderpro4730 PL 15 has a Conventional Rocket Motor, is 4m long, which means the it takes a hard hit on it's Maneuverability and can be dogded easily. Meteor has way better maneuverability since it has an Air breathing Ramjet, which is a smart system, it's a true fire and forget missile. PL 15 is only comparable to Meteor if they replace Rocket Motor to Ramjet. But since that isn't happening anytime soon, most probably it will be ineffective on Fighter jets. Everyone knows how Chinese Propaganda, so, much of the Numbers and capabilities will definitely be over estimated for sure.

JF 17 is made by Pakistani engineers and researchers, compare any thing made by Indian counterparts. This jet can even go to Israel but will be used only for defensive purpose. JF 17 has already established it's supermacy against Russian sukhoi. Above all these realities, it's not important that the bullet is hit by pistol or Kalashnikov or machine gun, important is to hit the right spot at right time effectively FYI.
