No words that can explain how real this performance was. Im happy to now that talented people are still recognized in the music industry. Jools Holland legend!
great stuff - and a big praise to Jools Holland - he finds just good music without boundaries and prejudices - he never puts himself into the spotlight although he is such a big guy in business - he brings so much joy to the people with this show
I watched this on the telly and this stod out so much it was nearly embarrasing! Just amazing, this is why i watch Jools to discover talent like this...just unreal how good this is!
Absolutely. These stand-out moments are few and far between but well worth the wait. Madison Ward and the Mama Bear were the other recent revelations. Perhaps Jools should just concentrate on the newer acts rather than the established album pluggers.
I was on holiday and watched that week's Jools Holland because Beth Orton was going to be on it. She was... underwhelming, to be fair (or maybe diplomatic). The weather outside wasn't too great, and Rag n' Bone Man - who I'd never heard of at that time - came on and performed Human backed by the Irish Sea chucking lumps of weather at the cottage. I was spellbound. Tidying up a few weeks ago, I found a notepad I'd taken with me, with artist and song title scribbled there in pencil. Now I've found that note, I don't need it. I can't not know who he is.
+Simon - you just inspired me to go back and look at Portishead on the show in 1994. And realise that it was 50% of my life ago. And that Jools Holland used to have a lot more hair.
Rory has such a raw emotional voice, it's incredible. Wound down, this song is so powerful, and he lives every word through his voice. I feel like we're going to be hearing a lot more from him. I hope so anyway!
Mate there's nothing wrong with adele. She is one of the few major artists who you can actually tell cares about her music. Even though I really don't like her.
I'm off work for the next 3 weeks and back home in my home country(Ireland )im drunk smoking a spliff and I thought it couldn't get much better .....then this song comes along .....the craic is mighty
Steff William and YOU can shut the fuck up . All he did was make up petty little lies and make out that my life was bad . he'll wast his fucking gobshit life in a gutter with meedioca pay drinking and taking drugs the pleb.
I rarely sign in to comment on RU-vid. Just checking in to say Rag N Bone man your voice gives me total eargasm goosebumps on the arms. One of the best male voices I've ever heard. A singer's singer. A proper artist. Keep it up lad and very well done.
I saw him live supporting Tom Odell. I was blown away. Can't get enough of him now! He's a breath of fresh air compared to the new crap that's in the music world these days.
I can't stop listening too u absolutely awesome voice and lyrics and all ur other songs only noticed ur music a few weeks ago top top talent keep going mte
For me it has been the whole discovery, I am charmed with this artist. He excuses if he does not understand himself too much, but it is that I am using a translator of languages, I have not even Englishman's idea.
Rag N' Bone Man steps out in front of you in a dark alley. You start to cry in fear, then he opens his mouth and starts to sing this and you end up crying tears of joy...
Beautiful song. Unbelievable voice.Very powerful lyrics and i can relate them to what is happening in this world at the moment concerning race, religion etc... etc... What is missing in world ? very simple: LOVE. Rag'n'Bone i thank very much, good job, GOD BLESS
Killer voice live, reminds me a little of Ted Hawkins. At last a singer willing to get out of their comfort zone and let it rip, he has so much power and control hope he has a great 2017.
