More so, in how she interacted with the queen than with Pomni, I saw myself really. That feeling when you talk to a girl, especially a new, pretty girl, this overenthusiasm you don't quite understand. None of that is inherently romantic, merely traits I have noticed in relation to being a lesbian. Ofc I'm not insisting she is a lesbian, nor do I think she's actually trying to flirt with Pomni, I'm just a lesbian who sees part of how I interact with girls in her.
the fact that she took the time out of her day to think “oh shit pomni might think i’m mad at her” and then waited outside her door to talk to her is the highlight of this episode oh and don’t forget trying to make pomni feel less isolated the whole episode and constantly thinking about pomni even though they were going to be augustus glooped
I saw it more of a motherly thing with Pomni. I know I try to hype people up in that awkward way just like she does when they’re sad or upset, I totally saw myself in her the entire episode.

Here's the thing, I'm down for Ragatha being lesbian and the ship, but yeah, just because she's being kind to her and is trying to be thoughtful it doesn't mean she has a crush on Pomni. I think Ragatha x pomni could be a think depending on the direction of tadc why because ragatha is kind to pomni and cares for her plus compare with the rest of the main cast it seem likely why Jax is kind of a jerk to pomni and didn't care for her Gangle and zooble barley interact with pomni or share any dialogue with pomni ( this might change depending on future episode) And kinger is kind of too old for pomni and given that there what look like a queen picture with a red x in the pilot which mean it unlikely kinger would want to date anyone ( depending on if they explore what happened with kinger and unnamed queen character in the future) So yay it seem way more likely ragatha x pomni might happened in the future
She feels like she has a case of, “lesbian syndrome” to me. Firstly, she shows a weird fascination with Pomni, almost immediately when she shows up, and immediately hangs around her, and when Pomni sees her glitching out and stuff, she’s still trying to be patient and kind to her. She shows this treatment towards Pomni and ONLY Pomni, even when there are other characters who are unstable, like Gangle, Kinger, and Kaufmo probably before he abstracted, she treated similarly. But when Pomni comes, she’s automatically more presenting towards her, and talks about her when she’s not with them. She also shows no anger or aggression towards her for leaving her out of fear, which is behavior only found in those who have their primitive lizard brain being like, “Oh, a potential life-long partner, I’ll release endorphins around them whenever they are around, even if it hurts me!” And that’s basically what romantic love is. (Or very, VERY deep friendship, but that’s hard to understand considering that she doesn’t know Pomni, or has even known her for more than two days, and she already is sweet to her and only her.) She puts Pomni’s safety before her own, despite knowing Pomni only for a little bit which implies that she subconsciously or consciously thinks, “ooh a cute jester girl, I’m going to be exceptionally nice to her.” And she’s like, obviously, maybe has a little bit of homosexual interests in her. SO, yeah. Usually it’s too hard to connect what the writer is trying to say with a character this early in the show, but I’m 90% they chose deliberately to write Ragatha with queer undertones.

Yea but there was a funeral and she was upset about that so more than likely she just doesn't want to lose another friend and she sees Pomni as one. Also depending on what happened to that friend that's now gone, she doesn't want Pomni to go through that since maybe that friend acted the same way Pomni does before they're gone

She literally wasn’t. I don’t know what your definition of gay is, but showing genuine concern for someone or just simply displaying kindness to someone the same gender as you is not gay. Gooseworx specifically stated that there is no romance in the show, not even a slight hint of it. She wrote Ragatha to be depicted as a motherly character, and it’s very prominent in the way she acts with Pomni and the other circus members. Her being a mother figure to the cast, specially to Pomni, doesn’t necessarily mean she’s acting gay. You can ship whoever you want, but that doesn’t mean it’s what you perceive it to be.

i do ship ragatha and pomni but it isnt anything too serious. Its just like ragatha: hello lovely girlfriend pomni: hello☺ but in general i think ragatha is just nice to everyone (except jax) i DID think it was fruity af when (throughout the whole episode) she was so worried about whether pomni likes her or not..
