These riffs are so basic but they groove and hit so hard. Tom Morello found a way to make basic riffs that anyone can play sound greater than the sum of their parts. Legendary band with a completley unique sound at the time. Always imitated but never replicated
WOW such a lovely cover, appreciate the great work. Can you do ..And Justice For All next time please? Theres no one on youtube that made an accurate tab for AJFA, hope you can do one for us😅
@@rodolfoow yeah, but in this age he didn't rely much on pedals and actually was a skilled guitarist. Also many agree this album and Rage against the machine was his finest moment. And I made this comment for the people who don't like Morello to begin with. Stuff like "he isn't a good guitarist because he uses a lot of pedal effects"
@joaquinlezcano2372 I KNOW what you mean on both sides of the argument.... BUT, being that this album was released in 1991, he actually dethroned (I'll bet very temporarily) Hendrix in Guitar World Magazine as "Most Innovative Guitarist" .... to be continued...
This doesn't even seem reasonable in 2024, but not only were there no Helix, Kemper etc for effects, but although he did use all analog pedals that already existed (although he did have a couple he modded) he did, seemingly do things with them that was very original... plus the kill switch (it was his pickup selector on telecaster with no neck pickup) AND on People of the Sun the intro/verse riff is open strings, sliding an Allen wrench between neck and bridge pickup

Bro how long have you been playing? I just wang to know how long I have until i can play half as good as you, thanks for all the videos btw you've helped me a loooooooooot
Thanks for the kind words. In my experience, we are our own worst critics so you’re likely better than you’re giving yourself credit for. I also know that a great way to practice is to get your hands dirty and really tackle those hard to play parts. Divide things up into sections and give it all the dedication you feel is necessary. Not much can stop a strong desire.
It's a kill switch with a left hand legato technique. I believe Buckethead has a similar if not the same thing installed on his guitar. Definitely a cool device!
How do you record the bass? Is that via software? If so, what software and how long does it take you to program bass and drums for your covers? The whole mix sounds great at this end.
Thanks a lot. I take the mixing part very seriously. For the Bass, I'm using Modo Bass. I was very impressed with how close I came to getting a similar Bass tone to the actual song. It usually takes me a few hours to program Bass and Drums up to a day sometimes. Depending. I just added a link in my description to Modo Bass.
Je suis fan de votre travail !! Bravo et merci pour ces guitar tabs excellent !! Est-ce que vous pourriez faire la version cake de I will survive ??? Please 🙏🏻 thanks in advance !
