The solo starting at 02:44 has been my best piece of music since 25 years. I feel like flying into the storm with a terrific speed, killing all giants that threaten our world and winning all wars in the end. This solo has a cocaine like effect on me.

A little known fact, there is a television music show in Australia called Rage. It’s been going for decades and back in 1989/90 I started recording special episodes on VHS tapes. It hosted quite a few all night punk/hardcore/metal specials and one from about March or February 1990 is where I discovered Rage. It gets weirder, Invisible Horizons was the very last song on the tape when it cut out. It literally cut out 35 seconds before the song, so I was able to see the whole thing here. I still have that VHS tape, it was a top selection.
Me too,I recorded many songs from the early morning Rage program on to cassette tape through the stereo’s radio.I’d sit up all late night/ morning just to wait for a good song.Lots of good hair metal/thrash metal stuff.😁
I saw them the first time in the 80s live in Rottweil! It was a old dirty gym/ hall. On tour with Destruction and Kreator.Woooow maybe 150- 200 fans! A friend and i was driven 30km with our Mofas. Our parents dont know. We wer 15 yo. What a party...😀 The next two weeks we where arrestet at home. 😈 But the next time we where the stars at school.😁 My heart broke when the one and only Manni Schmidt leave the band. 😲😁 Gimme more of Refuge guys!!! 👍😀😀😀
I discovered Rage with this song in 1990's ROADRUNER THRASH THE WALL compilation !! Best Speed Metal song ever ! At 02:43, I always jizz in my pants...Really awesome !!
Sadly, Roadrunner is a joke today...thanks to know it alls and gen z mediocre nubs taking over. This would've happened only in the 80s/90s. Pretty cool that they went out of their way to include a non-RR band on the compilation. Rage rules \,,/
Awesome. Best Rage song. I first saw this on the old Doomsday News VHS video cassette tape that I brought back in 1994. This was I times when the popularity of metal but most specifically for thrash was totally decreasing and you were lucky enough if you would ever find anything of that stuff on the lower priced tape or CD bins. Still a treasured moment nonetheless. Hail Rage.
