Regarding the "should this class be common" debate, keep in mind that any GM is free to limit or even prohibit any class or ancestry or whatever from a given campaign to promote a certain feel. If the idea for a campaign is that of a goblin gang making their way in Golarion, it doesn't make sense for the players to all pick elves. Of course, players are also free to express their displeasure with limitations. Everybody around the table should be having fun. Can't force the players to enjoy a noir-style investigation campaign set in Nidal if they wanted to play barbarians vs. robots in Numeria. In that case, find a compromise instead. Or just don't play.

I recommend watching the Wu Assassin for ideas for kineticists that are not based on a kids show.

Quick comment about the nomenclature obstacle in Rage of the Elements; just wait until the Remastered Edition comes out. lol :)

@@goblinsalvagerites This one will be huge. Paizo can call this edition "Second Edition Remastered", it will feel like relearning a new game in a way. How many times old timers will fumble their words, trying to describe their action? How long will we run Pathfinder using double terms for everything. Ouch!

Wisdom needs more support ? Con had litterally no classes before the kineticist

Con hasn't historically been a stat that was used for classes. Not trying to necessarily suggest that we shouldn't make classes with a con stat. Wisdom on the other hand has been a stat that's been relied on for many classes. However, currently we only have two that use wisdom as a casting stat. Many, more rely on intelligence and the vast majority relies on charisma.

can you define what you mean by 'historically'? as in historically in pf2e? Than that can be said about anything before it was implemented, like Thaumaturge was the first Charisma based martial character. if historically mean older d20 games than pf2e, than I have to say there are several examples for a CON-based class, like in pf1 the kineticist, or the witch doctor archetype, in D&D 4e there were a whole bunch of classes with CON as a main stat afaik. and maybe a wisdom based caster is missing, but that role fits the upcoming animist or a potential shaman way better than the kineticist imo. Wisdom itself is one of the stronger attributes anyway, so from a gameplay perspective I find it okay if we have more Charisma or Intelligence casters than Wisdom-based ones. What I am missing is a charisma based martial class.@@goblinsalvagerites
