@@Kaiff I feel like the artstyle helps out a ton, there's a watch tower which is just cool and the overall feel just feels more polished and fun mixed in with the awesome cartoony artstyle I think

Instant buy on Steam like, the game looks so good and funny! And just what killed Among Us, I think, no new/not enough roles, not enough maps despite at the time massive player base and Inneraloth's laziness (lol) i.e. too little too late. Whereas this game offers those 31 different and unique roles, built-in VC and a lot of fun from playing with roles' different abilities on to social deception elements. Once again proving much like Goose Goose Duck did that the more variety the better, the game doesn't get stale or boring, not as soon at least.
@@MadeUpNoun What about Goose Goose Duck, then? It's a Free to Play game, has maybe a dozen roles and about as many maps too, built-in VC, different game modes. Among Us is a paid game that absolutely exploded in popularity as opposed to these two games, they had money coming in from ads on mobile and from the payments off Steam. Innersloth has no excuse, adding roles and new maps is obviously possible, they proved it, hell, modders proved it e.g. Town of Impostors mod, Crewlink mod.
I'm really glad they made the neutral evil roles just a part of the traitor's roles now. I use to hate the mentality in Town of Salem when executioners/jesters would win/lose and then be like "well I'm not a part of any faction so I can help whoever I want win because I already won/lost". Made the game a lot harder for traitors because they would usually help the townies win, even though they were classified as evil so they were meant to be vs the town
I can see where you are coming from, but personally I like having Neutral roles. Mostly Jester as when they win, the only thing they do to affect the game is take out one player. The Executioner on the other hand, eh I don't mind it, but it is annoying to constantly have to lobby for their vote.
@@elitebell9690 I got no idea. Most Town of Salem players are just that boring, or somehow think it's already hard for town, or just want the game to end fast because they only care about winning and not having fun
i do hate that Arsonist became evil, that role isnt designed for being able to just not kill doomed people.Hexmaster games tend to just come douun to if the touun got busted combos like doubling up on seer/mayor/sheriff
as a long-time member of the town of salem forums i've witnessed BMG (the devs) make some strange decisions, so i's been sceptical about this game since it was first announced, but honestly? it looks pretty good
Town salem is a good game except it's too much text based So the devs sat down and said "ok so hows about we just do that but better" boom, SR approved
