The way they just stare at each other. An actor can say more without speaking a word than another one can with an entire monologue. They make it look so easy, but it isn't. Two of the finest actors to ever grace the screen.
***** Oh yeah, "simple". Just learn the script and then deliver an Oscar-worthy performance. Piece of cake. Spoken like someone who's never spent a second on stage or in front of a camera.
It's unbelievable how every line they speak hits the other like a magnet. They are totally connected. Completely in character and in the scene. I'm not sure if an actor can appreciate it as much when they're shooting the film, but afterwards they must be thankful that they got to work with people who went all the way.
Did they actually say that they hit each other while filming this scene? Deniro doesn't look like hes actually getting hit. Both filming angles for Deniro's punches are set up for fakes, plus they added sound. Pesci is definitely getting slapped, they didnt even have to add sound for effect. Hilarious scene tho.
I prefer the term "Homage"..... Also that whole thing about "slicing a Picture of a cock that only flashes for a second in the movie.." I believe is taken from the beginning of Bergman's "PERSONA".
because awards mean shit, just looked it up,ordinary people best film best director,no I can't remember it,either,I must check it out again, but I doubt it's this good.
I thought you meant that "Little Fockers" was a terrible movie, when you said, "Little Fockers and other shit". So what I was trying to say was, "Home Alone" was a bad movie as well.
