i've done exactly that in the past when playing with jen on games like fugitive :)

same name but very different game

the colors for the prototype were known to be tough to distinguish in a bunch of ways, but the publisher knows this and plans on making them more obviously different for the final game. i don't have the prototype anymore so i can't go back and compare, but what i do remember was that it was easy to tell the orange and yellow tiles apart, the problem was that the yellow cubes were the exact shade of the orange tiles, and the orange cubes were a different shade not used anywhere

you can't receive purples from the rival iirc :)

i won't deny some waves of nostalgia washed over me when i first heard about the game :)
