This just goes to show how dumb US is. No, you cannot just refer to it as a COVID test, as even a rapid antigen test is a COVID test, but that is of no use when you are on going to be on a plane. Which goes to show why US has so many COVID cases. Even in Europe everyone needs to know the difference in RT-PCR and antigen test because the regulations ask you for it depending on the intensity of cover situation.

Bro, that's such a low hanging fruit to show privilege over. Not everyone, even in India, would know what an 'RT-PCR' is. It's not exactly the only way to refer to that form of test, an not everyone has needed one.

3:35 RT-PCR's negative test 'report' (which is done within 24 hours) is required to board planes even if you have been vaccinated. These are done on airports too. The results doesn't come in 10. minutes

That's right Jaby, there are multiple people who have travelled first time in the flight. Even though the instructions manual is supplied they do give a demo on how to wear seat belt, put on mask and wear the life jacket

Presently for air RT-PCR test is mandatory instead you got the double vaccine doses. Secondly their was a QR code on vaccination certificate for verification in India. Notice period is the mandatory time you have serve when you file for a resignation.

Because even vaccinated people can fairly get infected. It’s how your immunity adapts. Also this immunity withers away. So they can carry virus load. See how omicron is spreading across countries despite strict travel guidelines of only vaccinated people allowed.

Many scientific terms are actually dumbed out for the American public. We indians call them RT-PCR and antigen test (which are scientific terms), while westerners mainly know it by just COVID test or Rapid test etc.

Notice period is when u are in plan to exit the job at the certain company, you have to serve the notice period of whatever month mentioned in your contract with the said company. You can only quit that job after serving the notice period.

I was the only brown person travelling out of Alaska after holidays. And there was one black girl. Rest of the people in the airport were as white as snow in Alaska. Me and the black girl were the only people whose luggage was checked twice, laptop and phone was swabbed, all the gifts and souvenirs were taken out and checked and then they said they will pat me down, I asked them to do it in front of everyone. I have met so many legal and illegal Russians in Alaska but hell if you are dark skinned, you are either person of interest or you are snuggling weed out of Alaska !

Rt Pcr is a method of medical diagnosis for variouses diseases. In India we have 2 types of covid tests Rt Pcr and Antigen- Antibody But the former is more relaible and acceptable. So these days if someone says RTPCR he/she is referring to the Covid Test . Also the usual tests everywhere done are the RTPCR ones only !

Coming early for a flight in India is majorly due to heavy security reasons and it takes a lot of time on a busy airport to scan and check every individual properly, even if the metal detector doesn't buzz, they would still scan you properly whereas I have experienced in the USA etc that they would let you go if the metal detector didn't beep...

Over here when you submit your resignation from a job you have to serve a notice period of a month or two so that the company can find a replacement for you......in that period people aren't worried about their performance or following any protocols because you are anyways going to quit

In my experience, the people from the so called "lower social strata" of India who seem to be travelling for the first time, pay more heed to the directions of the cabin crew and are also easier to travel with.

Yeah Jaby in India a lot of haven't traveled in Planes because Trains are much affordable and most people travel in overnight trains which reach in the morning at the destination which is very convenient.

It’s mind boggling that almost 2 years into the pandemic and people still don’t know what an RT-PCR test is (it’s the test you do to detect Covid). But it’s not that uncommon in the US. I live in New York and I have come across people who don’t know what an rt-pcr test is. Never ceases to amaze me

The best kind of seatbelt on a flight should be the X shaped one that goes all across your chest. Those do exist on a plane, but it's weird, because only the flight attendants have them on their temporary folding seats that they use during take-off and landing.

Watching Jaby for few years i have realized how bad he is on getting observational comedy/satire. He is used to the typical American type humor which is why when he watches this type of comedy he takes things way too seriously and dosent get the exaggeration bit and starts boringly lecturing his audience

RT-PCR : Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction Is a more intensified form of normal antigen covid test... Antigen tests are less reliable but gives instant result. RT-PCR is very accurate but takes 2 days for results to revert... Hope you get it jaby 😂

13:00 notice period is when you are essentially gonna be fired in a few days, they give you a notice prior so you can have time to search for alternative employment, essentially its your boss going you gonna get out now or in 15 days your choice.

For domestic flights, you have to reach 45mins early and in Busy airports, yuo hvae to reach atleast an one and half hr early or else you won't receive your boarding pass....and for intl travel, you have to reach atleast 3 hrs before boarding....

The thing is i've reached the airport 30 min before and though i missed the flight but the fun fact is that i didn't. But i tried pushing the boundary past 30 min and missed another flight. And believe me the next ticket was 5 times the price of the original.🙃
