In this video, I discuss four pokemon who got BUFFED in the Teal Mask DLC. Before the DLC, these pokemon were skippable. But after the DLC, these pokemon are definitely more viable. Dare I say MUST HAVE Raid Builds. This is "MUST USE Pokemon AFTER The Teal Mask DLC".

Hisuian Typhlosion Is Appearing in 7-Star Tera Raid Battles
Fire-Tera Type Hisuian Typhlosion with the Mightiest Mark will soon be appearing at black Tera Raid crystals.
Hisuian Typhlosion with the Mightiest Mark is coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet black crystal Tera Raid Battles! The action will heat up when you challenge this Pokémon from Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 3:59 p.m. PST and then again from Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. PST to Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 3:59 p.m. PST. Hisuian Typhlosion cannot normally be encountered in Paldea, and the Hisuian Typhlosion appearing during this event has Fire as its Tera Type. Be prepared-this Pokémon is a formidable foe, and it’s got the Mightiest Mark to prove it!
For the opportunity to encounter this Pokémon in Tera Raid Battles, you’ll need to have downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. You can do this by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News. After that, whenever you see a sparkling pillar of light shining from a Tera Raid crystal, you can walk up to the crystal and interact with it to start a Tera Raid Battle with a Tera Pokémon.
To challenge Hisuian Typhlosion, Trainers will need to either complete the postgame events that follow the main story or join a 7-star Tera Raid Battle hosted by a Trainer who has completed those events. This special Hisuian Typhlosion can be caught only once per save data. You can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against this Hisuian Typhlosion if you’ve already caught it to obtain other rewards-including significant amounts of Exp. Candy for leveling up your Pokémon, treasures that can be sold at Pokémon Centers, items for improving your Pokémon’s stats, and Fire Tera Shards for changing your Pokémon’s Tera Type.

HEY, had a lapse in judgment, do NOT use Swords Dance on Contrary Lurantis. You'll lower your ATT by 2 stages. Enjoy :)

Tbf, if you can afford the moveslot, you can use Swords Dance on the turn the party loses their abilities, giving you one opportunity to cut to +2 Attack.

@@TheVengefulVadam very true! Yeah the moveset definitely has room! The only must have moves imo are leaf blade and superpower especially if you’re running the shell bell

Lurantis superpower for me, a free bulk up while filling your tera orb is just great 💪, goodra comes close second but with acid spray and scald you have an all rounder. And finally the scyther build was revealed.

Interesting you included both Scyther and Scizor without neither of them running Fury Cutter. Now I know potential of missed attacks will reset its power back to 40 (60 with technician) before considering stab but you could give it Wide Lens which boosts it's accuracy which is enough to be 100% accuracy move or if you want to be bold run it with Sharp Claw or Metronome for juicy damage you do however loose out on recovery from Shell Bell but if you have a teammate to heal you that could be valid option. If you didn't know when you use cheers it will not break the Fury Cutter chain so you could use heal cheers as an alternative, but due to how inconsistent heal cheering can be you might not get the big heals when you need them the most. Speaking of resetting, the nullify phases will not reset the Fury Cutter chain As a side note I do want to point out that Scyther/Scizor/Kleavor (for those who has access to it) can learn Defog through egg moves which lower enemies evasiveness by one stage and also break screens/reflect (does not go through shield however that's a small downside to it) but hey, at least you are helping out some supporters running low accuracy debuffing moves of their own : ) So I could see something like Tera Type: Bug Stellar (incase of resistance situations so all of them won't have the standard bug weaknesses) Ability: Technician (Scyther / Scizor) Sharpness (Kleavor) Item: Shell Bell / Wide Lens / Sharp Claw / Metronome / Eviolite (Schyter) Fury Cutter (Stab Move) Defog (Debuff) Focus Energy (Self Buff) Light Screen? | Tailwind? (Team buffs) Swords Dance (Honorable mention instead of Light Screen / Tail Wind) The last move is a bit awkward to fit in since you typically want to be spamming Fury Cutter after Defog / Focus Energy but at least it's a temporary team like boost you can do before you go into damage mode. You never know, you might have some slow teammates that appreciate that Tailwind buff : ) you could apply another Defog if the boss resets it's debuffs early and shield is not activated so you still get that 100% hit chance with Fury Cutter could be worth it over a potential missed attack later in the raid. Defog Could also work with that Dual Wingbeat set if you have room for it. But if you went with the Swords Dance approach I would wait to use that till the boss has used up its nullify and definitely it you have missed an attack to do some catch-up, just don't over do it. 1 is plenty especially if you already are Terastallized and are healthy there is no need to get greedy there are some raid mons that never wipe your buffs so Fury Cutter could be very busted in those in combination with Focus Energy, Swords Dance: ) Note: I'm a solo player primarily but i do from time to time go online so i try to make room for some support oriented moves where i can on all my mons, but for solo play the Shell Bell item item is in my experience the safest bet for survivability. Either way, great video and recommendations!

I forgot about Lurantis... I got one sitting on my box. I might use it since I'm lacking on the grass department. You might want to add a Zangoose build too. Poison Boost with Belly Drum. I'm using mine for ghost-type raids. It knows power trip and that's what I use to one-shot most ghost-types raids, well mostly. Used it a bunch during the Mismagius raids.

@@EastsidedTTV shiny is lit! Both Zeviper and Zangoose have awesome shinies. I am planning on checking Zeviper's raid compatibility, as well as Hawlucha's. It's never too late to check the crazy builds on these guys, maybe.

@@Mr.Crabz89 Seviper has Screech, Swords Dance, and Coil, meaning it can boost its accuracy to land really powerful SD-boosted Gunk Shots. Shed Skin is also nice to occasionally remove status conditions.

My goodra has hydration so i gave it rain dance, muddy water, thunder, and dragon pulse. Scald will be swapped with muddy water but any other recommendations?

I think acid spray is a must-have move for goodra! So you can lower the targets SpDEF and deal big damage with your SpATTs

I think the only one I didn’t have or know about was Scizor lol. Technically Scyther but I remember hearing that already from a previous stream. I was going to build Scyther but I started getting lazy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After that last stream where we asked about the build, I sorta tried to check Scyther's moves and yeah, been using that mon since for most Grass, bug, and psychic raids. It's really, really good and not many players use it. I kinda see the look on their faces when a bug destroys the raid boss lol😂 I will change my move to Bug bite, got fury cutter on mine. @@EastsidedTTVI'm doing the same. Mostly, shiny hunting after I do raids with herbas. Trying to complete my Scarlet shiny dex, unfortunately, shiny hunting in Violet is another ordeal...😅

@@Mr.Crabz89 fury cutter is also really good! It gets the technician boost and stacks everytime you use it! My issue is it isn’t 100% accurate and the stack resets when you miss, and I try to recommend very consistent builds for y’all!

IMO the real buff Goodra got was compatibility with Legends:Arceus since you can now get away with both an Eviolite Hisuian Sliggoo AND Hisuian Goodra that'll never taste crits with Shell Armor Tera Steel Modest Hisuian Sliggoo/Goodra @ Eviolite/Covert Cloak Acid Spray, Flash Cannon,Acid Armor/Shelter,Life Dew both use 252 SpA, 252 SpD with 6 HP for Hisuian Sliggoo for that juicy Eviolite buff,252 HP with 6 in SpD for Hisuian Goodra since it never really needed a SpD buff with Shell Armor+Covert Cloak making it dummy THI C C C C C C against special attacks. Also, imagine if Roost returns so Scyther could possibly toy with Eviolite and get real bulky if you do it right.

Hisuian goodra has been one of my favorite builds! It was one of the first Pokémon I highlighted on my channel during the Delphox raid. Goodra never really impressed me till post-Teal Mask

@@EastsidedTTV went all Mega Man against Delphox using either Ceruledge/Armarouge to deal with that pesky Fire Blast with Flash Fire & Tera Steel to punish it for using it's other moves, especially with Ceruledge since it's built to punish Delphox from turn 1 with is being a physical attacker and only worries about that 5 turn magic room that negates Covert Cloak to block Psychic's SpD down.

I can't believe you forgot the mon that got the biggest buff of them all with DLC drop. Luvdisc on the initial launch of the game had no egg moves, on top of having its level up and tm moves it could learn reduced. It finally got Entrainment back for Swift Swim Kyogre or Swift Swim Ogerpon shenanigans. Its only real niche since gen 5 has returned

@@EastsidedTTV Yes, but in terms of buffs, no mon was buffed more than Luvdisc when it came to DLC Its just so bad it needs way more buffs to be good 😂
