I went from being excited at the beginning of the video to being frustrated and sad at the end. Gatekeeping this content behind awakening means that 80% of the playerbase are never going to touch this.
@@bironbudokai742 i can guarantee you're not going to be forced to use affinity breaker, there's almost no content in the game that they built to be beaten with a gimmick that you actually have to use said gimmick, all the sand devil teams use Aniri and ninja, the FK hard teams don't even use freeze, none of the bommal teams use freeze, iron twins beaten by an epic, etc etc you can literally still use burn explosions against the hard spider, which they attempted to get rid of.
It's nice to see that RAID is paying it's developers to continually make content that the majority of the player base just doesn't do... Iron Twins, Sand Devil's Necropolis, LIVE Arena, and now Akumori the Phantom Shogun Great game design..! /smh
Breaking News: we, the paying players, are actually paying the devs to spit us in the face. Unless they have the wages money from somewhere else: money laundry, printing fake money, etc.
Here's a guide that I made : 1) Be a kraken 2) Spend hours or days to find a great team for this boss 3) Defeat the boss 4) Realize you're already a kraken who can beat the whole game easily and you don't need extra stats on your accessories

@@Sxtvara, don't hold your breath. You'll still need ascend & awaken champions, who also be the best cleansers in the game...for low levels. To put that simpler, you'll need to be in the upper 10% just to start the first level.

Iron Twin Dungeon's only purpose in the game is to give us Soul Stones, and the rates are so painfully low that it doesn't even worth it, so no Cirilla, no Plarium, i don't care there's other ways to get soul stones, they are not enough, definitely not enough with the route the game is going. you should remane it to Raid Krakens Legends since you are only aiming to them and they are definitely the only ones you care about.
As someone who has been grinding almost every day for about 20 months. Im lvl 81 with a very decent collection of very good champs. Ive gotten to stage 13 on iron twins and 11 on sand devil. Now they release a boss that i cant even attempt. WTF?!?!?
Fully awakening my team is going to be a MASSIVE hurtle. You can only fight the Iron Twins 6 times a day, you can only farm 50+ mortal soul coins per battle (roughly 300 soul coins per day), each mortal soul stone costs 1,000 mortal soul coins to summon a single soul (about 4 days), and the chances of fully awakening a single champion is very slim. And awakened champions are needed to beat this boss. If that doesn’t spell out greed, I don’t know what does. Make the rewards for the Iron Twins, Sand Devil’s Necropolis, and the Grove more worth it (I rarely buy things in this game), like doubling the rewards for beating the boss!
0:22 "Accessory ascension work EXACTLY THE SAME as artifact ascension"... so why make another dungeon, introduce a new currency and make us spend double the energy without increasing the cap? I love the dungeon, the boss design and his abilities are cool, but I feel like the rewards are not good enough considering the amount of energy spent.
The boss looks awesome, as usual, but I sincerely hope there's a new mechanism coming, as we now have 3 forms of "fight boss to collect colored juice, apply juice, change color of star".
Plarium always be whale hunting boys! Whenever they implement something cool, they do it in the most "Plarium" way possible. Plarium: "We can't get people to play Iron Twins or buy soul stones, what do we do?" Devs: "Well, we could remove the energy requirement add more loot and make some of the mechanics a little more forgiving, we could make it more fun?" Plarium: "Exactly! Lets put in a cool new boss that no one but the dudes spending tons of cash can do with their awakened champions!" Oh, and 2 Champs have "Taunt" dawg. Ugh, so gross, but also so predictable. Yuck.
PLEASE folks, there's a HUMONGOUS DESIGN FLAW in the Shogun Grove and Sand Demon - the correcting of which would INCREASE PLAYER INTEREST in these two dungeons 500-1000%!! all they need to do is change runs to produce oils/elixirs SPECIFIC TO EACH STAT!! Players would GO CRAZY on Sand Demon if they KNEW their runs would eventually allow SPD increases on spd champs, CRIT DMG increases on dmg champs, HP & DEF increases on gear for support champs! As it is, gear ascension more often plays like a slap in the face -- e.g., my Duchess, in the fastest stalwart I have, has four ascended pieces with ascended Atk stats! THIS ONE SIMPLE CHANGE and people'll go BONKERS over this and Sand Demon... this ONE SIMPLE CHANGE.... :)
I have a good feeling this is where raid will slowly start to die off and out breaks my heart :( ive spent some money but its getting ridiculous and the chances of you even pulling anything good from souls to champions is insanely low even when spending a good amount of money
Wow ... a literal "pay to win" boss. Lets see ... I can drop hundreds of dollars on soul junk packs and MAYBE get something useful if my luck is crazy good. Otherwise, I am not going to stand a chance. I think its about time I gave up on this game and found a less offensive hobby.
It would seem that playing this game is futile, one's time would be better spent trying to develop faster than light speed travel and probably with greater success.
Hey Raid, can you at least change these Ascension oils and extracts like potions? 10 pieces of lesser flasks turned to 1 greater flask? Getting these is already quite pain in the ass, so why don´t you give us players same option like with potions?
Hi Raid, totally unrelated question to the new dungeon but relates to the update. I just finished completing faction wars. Lydia is ready to be pulled, but want to save her until the next champ chase. If the new facrion war opens before I pull Lydia, will I need to complete the new FW?
I find Ascension ok ... but sometimes it just ruins your stats... would be nice to make a way to change the new stats into something else, if you don't get the one you wanted. Would be nice if Raid thinks about it, instead of always making changes that are not always good for all.

"This is gatekeeping!!" This is endgame content. "This isn't for 80% of players!!" 80% of players are not at the endgame. "Why have junk Affinitybreaker set in the game?! There's no use for it!!" Devs made a boss where it's not necessarily required, but a really intriguing option.
You're telling me that raid went through all of the trouble to actually develop something so complex and stupidly overkill hard, just to ascend accessories??!! Honestly, I might have a crack at it just to challenge myself, but other than that, this is just stupid.
It's so hard to get resources for soul stone currency... and some of us just depleted our resources because of that soul stone tournament. Suddenly, farming Iron Twins become a thing... Whatever, I don't like the mechanics. It feels Hydra->Iron Twins->Sand Devil's Necropolis. My personal add is 3 vs 3 Arena. They are my top 4 most hated grind in the game. HOWEVER, I LOVE THE BOSS DESIGN! WE have the first character on Horseback in the game now! WIll we see playable characters on horseback, now? (PLEASE!), Will we get enfeeble debuff on a bunch of characters soon? I'd love that!
*Dear Raid,* *Every update you bring new challenges for players new bosses new modes but you didn't increase the power of champions you should increase the level of champions like 1 star to level 20, 2 star level 40, 3 star level 60, 4 star level 80, 5 star level 100, 6 star level 120 and increase their power hp, attack, defence, speed, accuracy, critical rate, critical damage, resistance, it will be a unique changes compare to other games it's my opinion if you like it so you should do this in next update or after next it will be helpful for those players who can't earn high rank artifactes & accessories anyway I love this game too much* ❤️
What a terrible look after "Profit Mode" coming out of Plaurim's mouth. Really? As if the game wasnt paywalled and RNG heavy enough? Watch when they nerf Iron Twins (Even though its already trash) even more, giving you less coins and taking away small stones from milestones. Hopefully Gnut man Will show Raid that we need more content that is OBTAINABLE for most and not kraken exclusive
You forgot to add a mechanic where +4s champs receive less damage. This boss is a sorry excuse to drive purchase of souls and get the top players raiding again for better stats. Not that I will be playing this dungeon.
Seems like another way to get extra stats that is a form of endgame content fortunately, we can beat most content without requiring souls, artifact ascension, and accessory ascension so these stats are only needed if you want to push to the top of arena or just some ease to beat all content in general. We likely will have events where you can get extracts later down the line. For the top 1-10% yay we have a challenge, for the rest of the player base it’s something to look forward to beating in the future. Also I think that some of the new champions will happen to be perfect for this boss
I was considering returning to the game and decided to catch up with new content. After watching this, it reminded me why I quit playing a game developed by Paylarium. Greedy and disgusting.. 🤢
pretty much this is just Plarium using their new toy to mess with the rich and their teams and I'm sure the heads at Plarium are saying something like for all of the commonfolk out there they can just pull up a chair for this one just another Plarium letdown.
I DONT REALLY NEED TO ADD ANOTHER NUMBER OF SKILL ON MY ACCESORIES, IM OK WITH THEM, AND I KNOW I CAN BEAT AT LEAST THE 1-4 STAGES WITH ONLY MY TEAMS AS THEY ARE.
Honestly, the boss design is amazing but for the same reason the rewards are more ridiculously bad. They weren't that god, but the amazing and complicated design makes it worse
Again a bad interpretation... use your energy also at more places, so lets waste your time more likely! But make it harder than any other older content Raid already have! Well done!
