The only problem I see here is that these tracks are not abandoned at 1:46 you can see the silver top of the rail as the sun reflects off of it still pretty cool though
I could imagine cowboys on their horses riding along side those steamy locos and old carriages shooting in the air like crazy while robbing trains, what in interesting era.

Brian Fedline, I just saw your comment. I would be interested in riding that line. Do you work for the Idaho Northern Railway? I have talked to them and hadnt had much luck. the line is currently in fair shape except for rock slides and down trees.
Marlene wants to fight! -- Well i don’t know if this is a troll or not but i just noticed i said 350 and not 360 😂. So to make a 360 VR video, there are many companies out there who make these cameras... Some very affordable and some very expensive. Im partial to Insta360... wide range of cameras and prices. But there are a lot of companies that make very good and affordable cameras. Simple to operate and do a great job.
Out there in sunny Nevada, you'll soon be going Solar Powered, its' now year 2020, in case you country kids hadn't noticed. Use cheap Chinese electric bicycle drive wheel's, two of them, one for each track, "regen" type hubmotors and solar panels on the roof but keep the pedal's. Good luck, happy days.
Don't forget to mention the cost cost for your inviro power components compared to a 200$ Harbor Freight 6 1/2 hp engine. You will get sticker shock soon enough when you price the composite wheels for this rail 'experience' ! Everyone seems to be gitty over green everything until the hidden costs are uncovered . Get a cyber job everyone, that pays big bucks , your going to need it just to live !!
Gary Jones the rail road is still in operation. The NNRy has several steam engines and a couple of Diesel engines. They do tours to Ruth all the time, and in the winter they go On Polar Express excursions. The railroad north of McGill is mostly abandoned though, and the highway department paved over the tracks at Currie
Out there is the "Lonliest Road in America" it crosses Northern Nevada AZ nd is the ORIGINAL TRAIL OF THE PONY EXPRESS RIDERS TOOK MAIL TO FRISCO ACROSS THAT EXPANSE!!!

now to make a really cool video would be to hoock a long rope on a passing train and let it tow a trail bike but five times the speed is it too much to handle , speed wobble, could it be designed for it , maybe rubber in rope for easy start , risk of stepping into rope loop , helmet , armour , ejection seat, parachute , airbags for falling to side, paddings or air filled , even a safety cage or shell, but detachable from bike. how about a giant ball rolling o the tracks , pulled by train. ball of branches or plastic or rods pipes. and guy inside. or like could use an old car pulled behind w normal wheels on side of trracks or no rubber and iron wheels on track , but rubber coating inside them. or rope and parachute fly benind train. any of those ideas can be very dangerous but some might be rather safe maybe if well designed and done. some choose some danger risk for fun, its popular on youtube like skydiving . fg
Thanks for that good to know it is still used by trains from the Nevada northern rail museum, I hate to see rail lines either completely abandoned or even worse pulled up, so short sighted removing rail infrastructure I always think , once again thanks for great video and for your reply,
Devendra this is the end of the line today. Originally the line ran further into the big smelter where the ore was deposited and smelted. This was a railroad the hauled tons of copper ore and pure copper.
I dunno, even though you've got pedal power backup, if you throw a chain or that motor conks out, or you run out of good track, you're going to be stranded 30 miles or more out in that desert with a less than ideal chance of survival
You should always ask for permission to ride from the owner of the railroad. I had permission from NNRY to ride here. Any railroad is private property.
