I can tell it was cold and damp because it was the same in Wisconsin. The mechanical refrigerators May on occasion get set out here as there are canning firms in the area specializing in corn tomatoes and pumpkins and sometimes those cars are also used as insulated boxcars. As for David J Joseph they're now a part of Nucor Steel end the procure the scrap metal for them. They also have a huge freight car leasing department so if you see DJJX cars the bulk of their Fleet is Gondola's and old coal hoppers but they also have numerous covered hoppers. The ones you saw on the UP we're hauling an ingredient of glass that being soda ash from Wyoming. Plenty of variety everyday
Thanks for the comment,hard to say one time bnsf had a derailment down the line months ago,made it were 1 personally only saw 1 bnsf all day the rest was up,honestly you can't really say for sure it just depends,this video seemed like up hugged the diamond,so it's kinda random
