Railfanning the South Side of Chicago, April 2013; Various Locations and Dates 

ah, you do go to the south side and railfan!!! I know most guys wont even go south unless theyre west of LaGrange Road

Nice shots of the Green Line El trains around the south end of the Dan Ryan Expressway. I live in the south Chicago 'burbs, so I see those scenes all the time, but this gave me a new perspective on them. It's always really cool to see the world around me through someone else's lens.

I have to get over there on the ex IC line but I think I will be at 79th st or 95th street and do some railfanning there.

Very seldom catch any CSL trains operating but go past there all the time going to the model rr club
