Thanks! Yep. It was an active wig wag at the pedestrian crossing installed in the late 1990s after it was originally signal-less when the light rail was built in 1987. They got it from either one of the former SP lines (Placerville Branch or Martinez Sub) that the light rail runs along (not the Sacramento Sub former WP because there was no light rail line built along that until 2001). It also could possibly be from old SP and WP right aways that the light rail took over between Redding Ave west to 19th St which would also be the R Street Corridor which is former SP or from between 18th St west to 12th St which the light rail sits in an former WP branch line that came off the Sac Sub. In 2015 the Wig Wag started having problems and in late 2018 to early 2019 the wig wag was removed with the mast being cut at the top or mast pole was replaced as a whole and installed a GS Type 3 E-Bell on top and installed 12x24 Inch lights. I never got the chance to get a good video of it before it was replaced. There's also a second one that still exists that SACRT has in the yard but its for display only.
