@@RajeshKumar-cy8nb Doc that is just a formality 99% you will pass ,the main thing is you have to know the language of the place you are posted in ,I am in west bengal so learning bengali was very difficult and it was very tough in initial stages for me .

always ask for first class 1A pass from place of residence to NAIR Vadodra for joining , you are entitled for that and even if the ticket is waiting , you can get it confirmed by going to the DRM office of city / railway station for getting VIP quota to get confirmed seat , no need to spend on flights , even if you are late by a day , you will not be penalised . although it's better to reach a day before .

Can you tell me what are the benefits of doing MD , DNB, in Pathology and then joining in railway.. Is there any scope for early promotion..Do they allow private practice ?

Study leave for both dnb and md/ms.for study leave min u have to serve for 2 years

U need to work for 1 year . Other wise u have to pay back money govt spend on Ur training and till that time how much salary u got ...all these u have to return.

Same as other emergency duty in casualty with some duties during accident ...and some emergency in running train

all sorts of emergencies can come like trauma due to machinery / road traffic accident / railway accident / workshop accident / MI / Diabetic coma / any other emergency , you can manage it if you know the subject else can refer to an empanelled hospital or higher centre .

In Extraordinary leave u will not get salary and all benefits from railways ..u will only get stipen from ur respective pg college ..but in study leave u will get all facilities from railways

EOL is for all purposes where the leave is taken either for study or for some reasons like medical emergencies where in competent authority can grant you a maximum of 3year leave , this EOL for study purpose n all is counted as qualifying service for promotion and increments , but you are not paid anything during your eol period and no other facilities can be availed . while study leave earlier was granted after 5 years of regular service for higher studies / training and on the payment of basic salary , where in you remain railway employee and avail all facilities of an officer , the institute where you join will not pay any stipend for that .

He need to have 1 year experience and need to apply whenever vacancy for direct dmo will come ...it will come after every 3-4 years

It means if any accident happen or any passenger have any problem ..than u will be called to chk him on station

If ur spouse is in govt job than u can get transfer easily on spouse criteria

Yes ,but before joining railways u will get 3 year extension. You need get bonafied from your pg college from your Dean stating that you are finishing your pg within 3 year ..u have to send to railway board ..u will get form from railways .

obviously a specialist admo can perform what ever surgeries are in his or her domain . I am doing phaco emulsification , sics , lid surgeries , pterygium excision with oculoplasty sugeries at my hospital

It's your choice , u have leave , u can take it ..it depends on your higher authority that they will give or not as it depend on number of staff are present.

Station call depend on route where u will get posting ..if route will be busy than more station call... emergency duty will be weekly once in max hospitals

@@indomitablesin984 not at all . interview is about how good you are in your theory and practical , how good you are as an administrator . and mostly begins with your mbbs onwards career. they judge you on psychological aspect , academic and other curricular activities .

yes , you have to return all the emoluments you recieved during the service plus the training costs which is usually 35000 per month .

Yes..but there will less transfer of doctors as compare to other officers in railways

yes it is a transferable and all india service so you can be posted anywhere and since there are many people opting railways these days the chances of your choice posting are getting limited . although after some time you do get your place of posting and usually till 20 years you will not be transferred from one place .
