Railworks 3 Train Simulator 2012 Deluxe - Cargo Prepare For Mission 

As a kid.. I watched this video over over and over again.. so much nolstalga. I took me 5 months to find this video again Even after 8 years, this video is still enjoyable I can watch this video on repeat i will never get board of it

I remember when I played with those DD40's that when I put my camera on the last weagon you still can hear the loc. but really far away. This is how I expect it to be in real to so they did a good job. I'm nut sure if they did the same thing with those small engine type locs. If those are able to be heard from a big distance it wouldn't be real.

I remember playing the original Train Simulator, and every time an AI train would go by (which was like once out of the three different AI trains in the game) I would drop my cars, chase it, switch to its track, couple to it, stop, and laugh. I was kinda little. This looks like an amazing sim. When that autorack train went by I was like "Whoaaaa, realism!!!" I must get this game and stop all of the AIs.

there are so many missions in this game so it is worth your money! you alsow can build your own track and make an mission on that.

I love that game, except for the scenario editor... it's so damn difficult to use!

I enjoy playing that scenario, I have friends on the BNSF who switch cars in and out of a yard in my town, almost feels like I am imitating them

I do this stuff in real life.The only thing missing is the smell of diesel fumes and a yardmaster bugging every 10 seconds,

this mission is called Hasperia Turn the train is at the Thorn Industrial Park in Victerville you have to assemble the train and head to Victorville to do a run around since the lead to Hasperia Yard is on the north main and there is no connection from the south main from Thorn

that seems like a lot of back and forth on the same sidings for a train your little diesel seems to be able to barely move in the end

great you buyed it! well if you have an good computer it just should run good but you may have to turn down the graphisch a little

Yes, but small locos problem on far distance can be "almost" solved. If you have access to asset folder with sounds and have audio editor, just use amplify signal feature, reduce signal intensity by 50% or more, then ideally there will be sound heard far but because of low signal intensity it will be very easily masked by rail clack witth tracksound noise and ambient effects.

I found this mission by filtering the trains by diesel, and i just started by the first one until I found something just like this one.

after you put train together don't you change ends then go down past the crossover and then change ends again and go along other track? Well after I proceed on other track for a bit it derails,maybe I was driving too fast

The only time it goes fast is when you set up the graphics to custom and low. It goes slow when you set it higher.

Im not sure because if got the deluxe and I just see the list of all missions. "Bazagazeal103" said that this mission is called "Thorn Reversal" check in your list of missions if that one is there:)

how much RAM did you need to play this game on your pc?

Is the noise (when the engine is in idle) normal in real engines? It's worse with the GP7... (the one in the "introduction to the horseshoe" tutorial).

@kluuc How far can you hear locomotive engine? ~2km away, like in TS2009 or 5km? or all over the route like in TRS2006?

I just got trains simulator 2012 yesterday and every time I play it , it goes slow. What do you think about why it is doing it.

It only goes fast when you set the graphics to lowest or custom. When you set it to low to highest it runs slow.

Are your switches lined up?

I think they are both good, they both have strong and weak points

By the way one more question. Does your CMP work fine (someone told me that in TS12 if you try to edit asset in explorer it redirects you to my documents and you can't access asset folder). Is it true? If it is individual issue which does not happen normally, I'll buy it soon. Also do you know whether is it Windows 7 Ultimate compatible?

but I'll just stick to getting the game on disc...that way i can have it on more than one computer when i travel to family's houses, instead of paying over and over again..I'd just keep the disc..and had only had to pay one time..I'd just have to install it on other computers besides mine when i get it but no hastle. thanks for the suggestion though

in gta san andreas you can go by train and even drive it yourself.

One more quick but important question before I buy TS2012, check if your CMP works fine and opens proper asset folder instead of my documents when you try to open asset for editing in explorer because some people on forums say it is an issue in modern simulators. May you please check your CMP how it behaves with opening asset folder, because I want to be able to install my own content into a game. Thank you.

You know, it is realistic for most trains, but something like SD40 or DD40x can be heard up to 5km I suppose, but tiny EMU motors like these i.ytimg.com/vi/r6eKU13xnEY/0.jpg won't be heard past 500m, so I think in enginesound, tags such as max-distance and min-distance would be helpful in realism, same as in tracksound asset, how do you think?
