Love the metal spikes. A must have. Just recently purchased more and the ‘plastic’ clips that control spray pattern and arcs broke off. Go with metal component toppers to attach to metal spike. Otherwise you’ll be at the hardware store alot. Great video.
I have the same model and I love it, except: The spray is so high when hitting halfway thru a 360-degree rotation that the eaves of my house get more water than my lawn (my lawn is approx 20' x 35'). I've adjusted both the top green dial and diffuser screw to no avail. The only time it works close to the level of spray that I desire is if I turn my faucet a quarter turn. Any suggestions?
I've noticed this to using my Sprinklers and think it's because the shaft isn't balance straight up and down if it has a slight cock left or right forward or backwards it's going to make the aim of the stream of water shoot in a different direction depending on how it's turning when it hits that particular angle that the spike is in. Hope the make sense. Try sticking it all the way in the ground flush or letting it stick a couple inches out of the ground but move it left to right a little bit and just watch it go back and forth a couple times
@@MelissaMermaidRocks you may have a broken or malfunctioning piece of equipment. That or its design to do that. There's no reason it would spray at the same pitch 75% of the time but 25% of time riding the center it pitches up even more. Unless it's designed to do that. It may be flush on the ground and straight up like it needs to be but you can turn the device left or right so when it is pitched straight up you have to angle into a different part of the yard. I've actually done that with mine to get a further distance in the center
You may have low water pressure. This sprinkler does need a substantial amount of water pressure to work properly. Either that or maybe check if anything in the hose or the coupler is blocked. Good luck!
Hi there! I only connected it to our water tap; no pressure motor. I think the water pressure in our house is strong enough to make this work. Hope that helps and thanks for checking out the video.

@@tharangawijayaratna2063 If I had to settings at full opening (meaning the nozzle) and maybe turn my tap halfway open (I did not have to open it fully to get too much distance), I think I am able to cover somewhere between 25' to 40'. Of course, I suspect this depends on the water pressure of one's household, so results may vary.
Water pressure is adequate as well as distance. I didn't bother to measure those as I only wanted to see if it will work the first time around. Thanks for checking out the video.
Hi there! There is a way, I think. The sprinkler head has some knobs where you can vary the spray of the water. It can be set to throw longer or be set to spray closer. I also play around with how much water pressure I put, which seems to help control the distance and spray. Hope that helps.
Oh boy, I am not sure. I have not encountered that problem on my sprinkler. Sorry if I was no help; hopefully someone can read your question and give a more informative answer.
The directional (or trip) collars on any impact sprinkler can be replaced; you just have to unscrew the bottom part of the sprinkler where the trips are and lift them out (for metal impacts). For plastic impacts, push the trip collar so it pops out. Then push the new collar into the same spot as the old one. Hope this helps!
Yup, it does. Even the first one that I got leaked. Not enough to affect how it works, though. It does not bother me that much, but if ever, one can put some teflon/plumbing tape where the hose connect to the sprinkler to fix it. Thanks for checking out the video.
