Rain Bird System on But No Water - Solved 

I know this video is old but thank you so much for the info. Had the same problem fixed it due to your priceless info. I don’t know what the problem with the rain sensor wire is but it worked after jumping it.

This is great! Additionally this jumper also works to bypass your rain gauge if you want to water now, even though you received rain. I needed to do this to water in some fertilizer I applied. I hit "water now" and nothing. Watched this video and the jumper made sense. Installed the jumper and the water turned on. Thank you for this video!

Thanks for sharing I had the same experience some how the rain sensor wire was cut & after watching your video I connected the wire together & it worked.

Thank you so much. Big help, my rain sensor was dangling down, no mater what I did to turn on my drip system, it did not turn on. After listening to you video, replaced the rain system wire with the jumper wire, the sprinkler system turned on. Thank you so much for you big help. Bless you.

Thank you! For some reason rain sensor was not working and the system hadn’t run in a couple weeks. Replaced the sensor with the jumper wire and it fired right up

Thank you very much for this tip. I was looking for everything that could have gone wrong. Then I found your video and It all made since. We had a huge downpour and when I checked the sensor....It was wet! At least I know that it works!! Now I can test the sytem....after I put in the jumper wire!

Hi thank you so much for this video. Right now I’m having the same issue I did notice my rain sensor battery is death can this be the cause why my sprinklers don’t turn on.

Hi, are you interested in replacing Rain bird with a brand new smart sprinkler controller? The only requirement is to shoot a test video for us

Well, I tried to install the Rain bird SST and its not working for me. I kept getting error code: Check valve#4. So I looked at a few more videos, replaced the solenoid, and I am no better off. Still the error message. Im exhausted.
