For the pit get some traffic cones (tall ones) place them around it and attach a plastic chain to the top of them to form a barricade....

I’ve always wanted to comment that an open pit requires a cover or hard barricade but then I would have comment on a whole list of safety items. You don’t wear gloves when handling chemicals No face shields or ear plugs when grinding Walking under unsupported loads Jumping from trailer decks Using a forklift to hoist personnel ETC ETC ETC Ok, that’s enough for now. Thank all farmers for supplying food to us. Your hard work is appreciated from the heart. Be safe and thank you all

If I may make a suggestion. Turn the valve on the hand washer upside down. If you have chemicals on your hands and you touch the handle on the valve to turn it on you now have chemicals on the valve handle. Now when you turn it off you now have some, all be it a small amount, back on your clean hands. If the valve is upside down you are constantly rinsing the valve handle off. Just a thought. Love your videos. I think when I retire I’m going to find a farm that needs a hand during the busy season.

Chet. For your track tensioning hose. You need to buy connect under pressure couplings the standard pioneer tips as you found out won't work. FASTER Couplings make them and are a game changer.

We built a cage on wheels to move back and forth over our pit when it was being used or not. You just need a spot for it out of the way when using the pit.

It seems like Timken bearings are the only ones that last anymore so we just started buying all timken's reasonable bearings on the front of a Ford only lasted 60 thousand, timken's been on there a 100,000 Mi so far and no play

You might have to put a valve after the coupler in the track tension line to hold the pressure once it is set so you can relieve the pressure to get the hose off the coupler.

Chet Dougo Eric Broodie and Jordan great job good explanations lot of work done on the equipment but to much for a check on equipment that has been checked over before planting time whats going on. Wheels falling off and for the price we pay for equipment should come with all options at no extra fees lets show then and say if it don't come with it we don't want it

Nylock nuts are only good for one, maybe two installs. After that they need to be replaced because the nylon is too worn out to work. If there's room on the bolt add split washers for your worn nuts
